Vlog#45 St. Lawrence River Pt.1
We took our annual trip to the St. Lawrence and I just got back the other day and I had a blast and I got a lot of great video and pictures to share with the people of BR! We fished Champlain, Oneida, and the St. Lawrence I will say the St. Lawrence was easily the most productive for both size and numbers. Thanks for the ongoing support! Check back later for PT. 2

Chris Lane Boat On Fire
I heard about this I am wondering if what the other pros were saying is true about someone stealing tackle and then setting the boat on fire? I am also wondering if it could be those lithium batteries.

A Good Fluro?
Sunline FC sniper best on the market next to Tatsu and Gamma Edge

Do Yum Dingers Work?
I fished a few dingers before but always go back to the original senko. I had more success with it.
-
Spinnerbait Weight
I feel like 1/2 is a great size .... 3/8 maybe if your fishing really shallow but for the most part it's 1/2.

Mid Cast Snaps?
X2 .... I would go this route.

Mid Cast Snaps?
Braid is the worst for abrasion resistance standpoint. I would check your guides.

Spinning Reel Recommendation
Shimano Stradic FJ 2500 would be a great "cheaper" alternative however I've been fishing with a 2500 series Shimano Stradic Ci4+ and I prefer that over the sustain I had.

Siebert Jigs
Rage craws Net bait paca chunks Grandebass mega claws You can't pretty much use whatever.
-
Abu Garcia Revo Ltx Or Shimano 50Mg
I've had both and the core 50 or chronarch 50 would be a much better choice.

Nail Polish On Flies!
I've been using hard as nails extreme for years now on hard baits and jig heads. If you don't want your paint chipping your jig heads from dragging it on rocks all day this is the product to use as it's indestructible.

How Do You Tie Your Lures?
I haven't really fished with snaps a whole lot before but haven't you noticed your crankbaits still run true?
-
Bittersweet Waters
Nice fish man! How long have you had your st. CROIX? They have a really good warranty program with stellar service I would look into that before having to buy another one.

Spring Square Bill Crankin'
Earlier last year I got heavily involved in video and video editing I since have purchased (2) GoPro HERO3+ black edition's and pretty much take them everywhere with me while fishing and doing other sports activities. I have a lot of videos on youtube so you can check them out if you'd like. I am going to start posting more fishing reports in this section for Southern, PA and Northern, MD I am also leaving this Friday for a week long vacation to my favorite lake of all time ..... drum roll please ...Black Lake, NY probably one of the best small mouth/largemouth fisheries I've been too as well as the St. Lawrence river. I will have some more uploads coming soon. Enjoy! SPRING CRANKIN' SWIM JIGS & CHATTERBAITS

Best Line To For Anti Back Lashes
I'm a little confused here Seagur and invisx especially is the most manageable fluorocarbon IMO it's one of the softest, limp fluros on the market if your having problems then it's one of two things. 1) operator error. 2) something is wrong with your bc?

Minn Kota Edge Steering Issues
Smacker is spot on with the tension cable ... Make sure that's tight. Also when the arrow on top on the motor is pointed straight does the boat go in the straight direction?
-
Best Flipping Line ( Braid Or Flouro Or Leader)
I flip with 50-60lb Sunline FX2 hands down the best option IMO. I really don't mess with leaders and when it comes to flipping with fluro I just can't stand it .... No one likes baby sitting there fluro

Lipless Cranks
Hands down xcalibur xr50 one knocker.
-
Lipless Crankbaits
I've seen perch and crappie caught on all sorts of treble hooked lures however it's probably not ideal.

New Hard Baits Plastic Problem
Depending on what the climate is where you live it's probably not a good idea to keep in your boat.
