Went to Lake Keowee yesterday and didn't have much luck with the fish. The water temps were around 58 and some spots even hitting 60 degrees Fahrenheit. I was looking for any advice or suggestions on baits and/or general parts of the lake where y'all have had luck catching bass.

Hey guys in the market for a new crappie rod and reel. I am not trying to break the bank but I do want to get one that will last a couple seasons. I will be using it to cast jigs. Any recommendatios? Thanks

Well after a lot reading and asking questions I decided to go the Daiwa Tatula Type R. Thanks everyone for the suggestions and advice I will keep them in mind for my next setup.

Would you go with a 6.3:1 gear ratio or a 8.1:1 gear ratio for worm and jig fishing?

I have another question for y'all. Have or do any of use the Carrot Stix casting rod? I am looking for a new rod for my new bait caster. I am trying to stay under $200. Any suggestions/advice is appreciated!

That's all I used to throw my buzz baits with. I am just now kind of getting into the bait casting game. When I first started fishing I went with a guy who all he threw was bait casters and he always told me he never understood how I fished with the spinning setup but I always hung with him in fish count.
