  1. I know many people don't like fishing it, but my favorite type of cover is bulkheads. I flip the worm, lizard, jig, or whatever ... on the bottom legde, wait a second then pull it off - looks more natural. It's also quiter and I tend to catch lots of fish this way (just my .02)
  2. All my baitcasters are Quantum's and I feel that the Energy PT is the best Quantum for the money. Super smooth and strong! Quantum also has one of the best customer services JMHO.
  3. RW very cool article... You're full of knowledge!
  4. Thanks for the info guys!! LBH... I'll get some pics up tomorrow Looking forward to fixing it up!! Thanks again, Chad
  5. I have 5 of them... They can't be beat for the price. What do you plan on using with this set-up, because I have a 7' MH and love it for worm fishing
  6. Beautiful baits KB!!
  7. I have a 1999 Pro Craft Bass boat, and the floor is getting "soft" in the middle of the boat. I believe the floor is fiberglass, with wood below it (i think, not sure). I has blue carpet on top. I want to fix the floor, but I'm not sure what the easiest/best way to do it would be... Any advice would help, and how much do you think it would cost for me to do it? For someone else to fix it? Thanks in advance, Chad
  8. What kind of rod wrap do you use?? I'm thinking about doing a few of mine... Do you wrap the rod with the reel on or off?
  9. [ftp]http://www.***.com/descpageZOOMTERM-ZHTH.html[/ftp] Here is a site to the hook that Al Wolbach was talking about... hope it helps
  10. Yep, they work... I tend to always use the trailer that comes with the chatterbait (they're really durable for a trailer and last a long time) My most productive color has been white in 1/4 oz
  11. False... for me there are no cuts in the spool or slippage issues. All my reals have the spools with the holes in them (I guess they're called wiffle spools). Just insert the braid through the one of the center holes and give the reel a quick spin to start spooling. Another reason I use this technique is because I've been in a tournament before (in a hurry) and laid my rod down while the spool was free spool. When I took off to get to the weigh-in the lure let out and my rod was eventually snatched over board. By spooling it this way if i were to do this again (stupid me) all I would lose is my bait and line.... Just my .02
  12. What do you recommend painting them with... or would I just be better off buying them already painted?
  13. Unbelievable... Thanks Doug, can't wait to learn from the best!
  14. Keeper for sure... CONGRATULATIONS!!
  15. jig and pig... many people dont like spinnerbaits, but i fish them slow during cold weather and have success
  16. Is this true... why should I avoid this brand?
  17. IN A NO MONEY TOURNEY - I don't have a problem sharing what I caught the bass on, but I would have a problem telling the exact location where I caught them. Next tourney would be a frenzy and there would be alot of traffic around "your hole"
  18. Ive been talking with ReelMech and have gotten the list of EVERYTHING I need to do my winter cleaning on my reels, but I want the best oil/grease I can get! Suggestions? Thanks for your earlier help ReelMech
  19. I use 3/0 gammies when i wacky rig i use Falcon "K" Wacky Hooks... absolutely the best waky hook on the market (in my opinion )
  20. 9.7 on a 6" zoom u-tail worm color: kudzu
  21. Add another one to the C-rig crew... i just haven't got the confidence in it yet. Maybe one day
  22. www.aaronmartenslures.com. ^ This site didn't seem to work for me - anyone else having problems with it, or is it just me?
  23. I am right handed... With a baitcaster, I cast with my right, reel with my right. With a spinning reel, i cast with my right, and reel with my left. I sounds complicated, but that is what is natural/comfortable for me. As far as saving time... i think that is overdone - theres not much difference in the time it takes. Another point... if you get "exhausted" from fighting a bass - no matter which hand you're fighting him with you need to take more vitamins
  24. PowerPro Braid #20 Cajun #12-#14 Love both!
