Not a state, but the fishing up here in Ontario is much better than it is given credit for. Good LMB fishing, some of the best SMB fishing around, arguably the best muskie fishing on the planet, tons of panfish, and great walleye as well. Huge carp are also a blast on light tackle.

X rap deep is pretty good.

Looking to get another LTB, maybe with a PX-Type R for finesse. Or not...

*Sigh* Just bought 2 Premier rods and a 3000FJ Stradic for an inshore trip I'm going on in a week or so.

I use 10lb Power Pro on spinning gear (1/4oz or less) and 10lb Big Game on casting gear (over 1/4 oz).

I have been a longtime 832 fan, but am starting to like Power Pro a lot. It seems like it holds its colour better and is a bit smoother. They're both great lines though.

A couple Premier spinning rods, a Stradic 3000FJ, 30lb PP, 15lb 832, 30lb Fluoro leader, bunch of jigheads, some hair jigs, a bunch of 2-5'' shad type baits, circle hooks and some big X-Raps. Going saltwater fishing in a couple weeks. Can't wait!

I only have 1 50 size Shimano, but am looking to get another one (Conquest)... Curse you monkey!

3'' Ripple Shad+1/8th oz jig = the worst bait ever for spooky bass.

I rarely go fishing without my Wave.

60lb ray on a jig in Cuba. Broke it off once I got a good look at it, because I wasn't in the mood for an hour long fight. Biggest freshwater fish would be a 26lb chinook I caught on 5lb leader while fishing for steelhead.

Yep, a very light setup is definitely an advantage. I use an UL powered trout rod with 3lb P-Line floroclear.

8-20lb braid to 6-15lb fluoro leader.

7' ML/F Avid spinning rod. Shad raps, dropshot, light shakey head, finesse carolina rig, jig+Gulp, etc.

Small sinking prop bait fished on light fluorocarbon in clear water. Very effective on pressured fish.

6'-7' should work nicely.

Under 200, get a Tatula Type R 8 gear casting reel. They can be found for under 150 quite easily.
