  1. Pflueger Trion size 25 spinning reel, 6' ultralight (UL) Bass Pro Shops Microlite Glass spinning rod, and a spool of 6lb P-Line flouroclear should put you at around 70$. A very nice setup for a small price.
  2. I use split shot to get Original Floaters deeper when fishing for walleye.
  3. 7'6" ML/XF Legend Elite. Paired with a Certate 2000 and 5lb Power Pro. Dropshot heaven...
  4. Lake Ontario and the credit river.
  5. Buzzbaits - I always seem to do better on a prop bait than with a buzzbait. Frogs - 100% hookup ratio, just don't get many strikes. Kinda surprised at the jerkbait responses, they seem to work really well for me.
  6. I have been enjoying a10.5 foot ML Avid steelhead rod with a Stradic 3000FJ, as well as a 6'8'' LTB with a Chronarch 50E.
  7. My favriot rod brand is St Croix, and my favriot reel brand is Shimano. For hard baits, I like Rapala, and for soft plastics I like Berkley.
  8. Shad Raps are a great lure for cold water bass and walleye.
  9. When the nose of the bait gets torn up, wacky rig it.
  10. Still trying to resist a Sage Method 5wt fly rod for smallies...
  11. No kidding. I once fished a 10hr day for perch and caught nothing. Being stuck in a shack for that long sucks...
  12. 3'' stickbait wacky rigged or a small Mepps.
  13. Yeah, a 7' Avid in either M/F or MH/F would be your best choice.
  14. ML Avid or ETS. Both great rods.
  15. I use a 6 gear spinning reel, 20b braid and an 8.5 foot steelhead rod for deep cranks. The reel has a fairly high IPT.
  16. I use 30lb braid with a mono leader.
  17. Most toothy fish will slice right through braid, but if you must use straight braid, Sufix 932 is super tough.
