  1. LOL, I was too scared to touch it!
  2. I've seen video of the mullet run. I would love to go down to Florida and see it.
  3. I just found this photo on my laptop, I caught it on an ice jig in Cuba. I think it's called a Lionfish, but i'm not sure. Anyone?
  4. I keep an ultralight and small box of spinners, Rapalas, and tiny jigheads/plastics ready to go just in case.
  5. I had some issues with mine, but got it repaired and so far it is impressing me.
  6. As long as the weeds aren't coming to the surface, I feel I can catch them ripping a hair jig through the grass. If the vegetation is coming to the surface and forming mats, I will punch with an ugly Otter or throw a frog.
  7. I love fishing a backwards rigged tube, it seems like sometimes it's the only thing that can get bit.
  8. There are no wrong species, there are other species.
  9. Sometimes 7' feels heavy to me too,but 6'6" rods are generally too stiff. ..
  10. Nice fish. Gotta love pinning!
  11. I found it a bit stiff, but it should collapse ok.
  12. I had one and it was an ok bait. I found it was a bit hard to walk. Never got a strike on it though, so I can't comment on hookups.
  13. Fall is prime time for fish like those in small lakes. Good stuff!
  14. I use the flouroclear in 2 and 4 lb for trout and panfish and I love it.
  15. Chronarch C14 7.6:1 is my choice.
  16. About a week ago, I ran 1K and almost threw up.
  17. Oh yeah, cupping a spinning reel spool on a 20lb salmon in heavy current will burn your hand pretty bad. The fish ran almost 200 yards, then the hook popped out. Probably the hardest fighting fish I have ever hooked.
  18. I backreel and freespool fish because I feel it makes the fight more fun. I also don't like my drag slipping on a hookset, but I don't want to break off fish. I guess I'm in the minority.
