Pflueger Trion and maybe a sale/used Fenwick Eagle. Gonna be hard to find a quality combo at that price though.

18'' or so defines 'big' for me. A fat 16 incher or a skinny 20 incher are also big. Girth is what really matters.

Graphite rods will conduct lightning, and so will water. Plus, being outdoors during lightning is not a good idea.

I'm gonna say either an HMG/Tatula or an ***/Tatula. Tatula can be found for 100 quite easily.

A moving bait will keep up with him and offer a different presentation. Try a squarebill, swimjig or spinnerbait. Good luck!

InvisX and AbrazX are both good lines, but I prefer FC Sniper.
