  1. Freedom tackle is my favourite, war eagle, booyah and strike king are pretty good too.
  2. Oh gosh, I'm a sucker for NIB Rapalas.
  3. I kinda want to pick up the 5.5:1 for deep cranks. Oh that's right, they won't make it in a lefty model.
  4. I like 10lb big game for topwaters. There really is no reason to go much heavier unless you are fishing in some heavy cover throwing some big baits, or are around some big fish.

  6. Upgrade the hooks and make sure you set the hook HARD. Don't forget the leader either.

  9. I always use a leader on spinning reels, ranging frm 2-30lb test. I especially like the 'tick' sound when the leader is cast out of the end of the rod.

  15. not sure about the premier, but the chronarch ci4 is one heck of a reel.
  16. My PB came fishing a topwater over a weedbed. Numbers have come ripping hair jigs through weedbeds.
  17. Since you are already quite proficient at fishing grubs, maybe try going to a 3-5'' grub.

  19. I cast spoons in Lake Ontario and rarely leave without catching a fish, be it a brown or a chinook.
  20. It can handle a bit of everything. Put a 6.X:1 or 7.X:1 on there and you're good to go.
  21. One of my favorite dropshot worms. Not too durable, but they do catch lots of fish.
  22. No, but i have damaged a couple rods by hitting the ceiling while 'hallway fishing'.
