  1. Darn, sorry to hear! A website has 15 percent off on a sale right now if you like buying online...........
  2. Power Pro makes a yellow braid if you want to line watch. You don't have to be only feeling for the bite.
  3. I have also bought 2 reels from eBay before. A Curado I and a Lew's Tournament Pro. No problems with them at all.
  4. Brand new NRX 803C on the way..... got it for $375.
  5. Have you tried to loosen the spool tension?
  6. These aren't rep samples... brand new!!!
  7. Recently I have been thinking about getting a St Croix LTB, but this deal popped up and who could resist????? If you want to know where I got it, PM me. All of the models are on sale.

  9. Number 1 has 11+1 stainless steel ball bearings, so it must be really good!!!
  10. Do yourself a favor and skip baits that are very easy to skip.. I have found that a pegged pit boss with a 1/8 oz sinker can go a long ways... This is a good video on skipping.
  11. Yea I googled the link and that's the first one that popped up.
  12. Oh, the tree huggers... "When they’re removed from their natural environment, they’re no longer able to breathe. Just imagine that horrible feeling you’d experience if you were underwater, unable to get enough air." That's what catch and release is? You take them out for a couple of seconds, and you put them back in so they can breathe. And if a person needs to breathe while they're underwater, all they need to do is resurface. Not really a horrible feeling unless you didn't know how to swim and were drowning..
  13. moment... thank you guys haha.
  14. I took off my braided line to replace it with fluorocarbon after fishing one day, and I noticed how moist it still was, even after several hours later. My question is that since braided lines retain water, is there a potential for rust to form on a spool?
  15. But can fish tell time???
  16. 4/0 EWG and a 1/8 oz tungsten sinker. I start by throwing it parallel to the bank and hopping it around. If there's cover, throw it into that stuff. You could also fish it weightless on top like a buzzbait, too.
  17. Siebert Black/blue 3/8 oz arky
  18. I have luck on mucky bottoms hopping the jig aggressively. Almost "stroking" the jig
  19. I'll go see if they have a M LTB and handle that
  20. I throw 3/8 oz jigs, but I also wonder how the tip is on the LTB for casting weightless senkos. I know that the MH *** has the same tip as the M, but just more backbone.
  21. I have a Powell Max 683 MH EF rated 1/4-3/4 oz, with a line weight of 10-17 lb. I want to get either an *** or an LTB that is similar to this rod. The *** 6'7" MH is very similar, however it is rated 3/8-1 oz and 12-20 lb line. The 6'8" LTB is the same way. I was thinking about dropping down a power, but I felt the Medium *** and it did not seem like it had enough backbone. Should I stop overthinking and get the MH? (Now I'll have to decide which brand..)
  22. For chunks, just hook them on. With trailers that have a body to them, I thread them on
  23. Does anyone know what type of guides it uses?
