  1. That's crazy! Good idea! Even though those are velcro'd tight, I'd worry about them popping off and falling on my car/truck. lol
  2. I will say that using Power Pro hi-vis yellow has helped a lot with fishing flukes and Senkos under docks. Many times you cast under the dock, lay some line out, and watch it. Next thing you know you'll see your line dart off to one side and you'll know that a fish took your bait.
  3. Yeah, everyone else is $16.99. What the heck! lol. Even TW.
  4. Awesome! Thanks! I ordered 5 because you get free shipping. FYI, $10.49 each for anyone who's looking to order them.
  5. Went to Gander today and all cleared out of good rods. Only 20% off rods and reels, so not sure if they were all sold or sent back to manufacturer.
  6. I use braid. I use yellow color so that I can see it.
  7. Went there today.....still suck. Only 20% off rods and reels and all good rods are gone.
  8. That won't eat the plastic?
  9. I had 2 mice die in my boats bow compartment. It is a plastic bin with a lid that is aluminum. I took the bin out and washed it with piping hot water and detergent and then used Lysol antibacterial wipes. I used the wipes on the lid of the compartment. I then aired it out for a day. It still smells. Not as bad as it once was, but still not bad. I was thinking about putting a box of Arm & Hammer baking soda in the compartment. But not sure if there is a better way. What should I do?
  10. Didn't want to hijack the Senko bulk thread. Some folks recommended knock-offs/copies of Senkos such as the BPS Stick-O and others. Many have come to the conclusion that the original is still the best for many types of lures. Others have found that the knockoffs/copies are just as good if not better. When it comes to Senkos, I have tried the BPS Stick-O and another one that I can't recall and neither worked nearly as well as the Senko, the sink rate and falling action just wasn't the same. However, I have found that the KVD Sexy Dawg, which is a knockoff of the Zara Spook is much better than the original for me because it walks much easier. So, in this case the copy/knockoff is better than the original in my experience. Any other instances of knock-offs/copies being better than the original?
  11. Ive tried BPS and other knockoffs and nothing worked as well as Senkos. Thx though.
  12. Thanks! Maybe I missed it. So can I order the part BNT 4240 (knob) from Shimano and use the original cap? Or is the cap ruined when you take it off and you have to replace it?
  13. Are you talking about Senko's or BPS? And what website?
  14. I've had some nice success with the Whopper Plopper 130 with rattles, so I'll stick with rattles, it works for me up here. Most of my topwater lures have rattles. Can't say I wouldn't catch them with silent lures, but I have confidence in rattles.
  15. Thanks. I'll check that. So you ordered the new knob from Shimano but had to order a different cap because of the new knob and ordered the knob cap from Tackle Trap? Also, can you answer these questions, thanks! So you ordered yours from Shimano? And I have to order a knob cap from Shimano too, I can't use the original one? Using my left hand to reel, I should order a left hand knob?
  16. Thanks, checked. Seems everyone has the silent 110's, but not noisy.
  17. I saw that too. Looking for the noisy ones.
  18. Correct on the liquidator. I wouldn't buy GM brand even before they were going out of business. I know St. Croix and Shimano make good stuff, I'll look at that Avid.
  19. So you ordered yours from Shimano? And I have to order a knob cap from Shimano too, I can't use the original one? Using my left hand to reel, I should order a left hand knob?
  20. That is full price. I should have said I meant buying in bulk to save money. Like if you buy a 100 pack it's $80 instead of $120.
