How long will Braid line last? - so far 8 years
I need to start. One of my Revo Rockets is starting to make a funny sound. Why? Because if I do that I should also do my line?

What will the next improvements for Trolling Motors be?
If I get a new boat I'll go with Talons and the Ulterra. I love my Ulterra but I fish docks a lot and the wind still moves you around some, a good way to crash into a dock.

Abu Garcia Revo Gen 4 (ICast2017)
When they go to the next generation is that how they fix the bugs?

From Flavor of the Month to Famous - List these lures
Good choices. I've never used a PopR but have a knockoff. Used a lot of Mepps Aglia's for trout as a youth if I recall.

How to replace foam handle on Stradic Ci4 and order the replacement?
You mean a handle off of a Metanium reel?

What will the next improvements for Trolling Motors be?
I do use my remote when stowing/deploying from the driver seat. And I can steer the boat when I have people fishing up front so that's nice too.

Thanks! Yeah, sucks not red, but I'm ok with that.

What non-ideal rod to use to fish a Ned Rig out of these two choices?
Cool. I agree with like shyness too, bass aren't walleyes which usually have a long time to look at most baits. Bass are usually fairly aggressive too. The knot going through the guides would suck too.

Anyone tried the new Teckel USA SPRINKER FROG?
I love Ragetail Toads but once they have a few bits the single hook is hard to make weedless and it gets caught up more. If this can avoid that it would be great. If the tails on the Teckel are getting tore up you can probably find a cheap replacement. Guys are making their own Sprinker Frogs.

Cabelas brand rods??
Did you tell them how you broke the last two?

Pending approval for tw order?
Ha. Probably. I've ordered a lot of stuff this year including a new Ulterra. She actually said, "You sure are spending a lot on hunting and fishing stuff." And I said, "Yeah." And that was the end of that convo. lol. I'm very fortunate.

Size Jig head for Ned Rig?
What size head do you use?

What will the next improvements for Trolling Motors be?
Good point! Almost all newer mid-range vehicles use voice control now. That would be nice. I wish GoPro made one that zoomed! "Gopro, zoom 2x."

How long will Braid line last? - so far 8 years
Using the KVD Fastach I almost never have to re-tie. Usually only once at the end of the year and if a northern tears my line up. The spinning rods usually a couple of times a year when the hook gets cut off for being stuck.

Intersting. Why no leader?

How to replace foam handle on Stradic Ci4 and order the replacement?
Can I order the Chronarch 201E6 BNT4240 Knob and BNT 4150 Handle Knob Seal (cap) from Shimano and have everything I need rather than have to order aftermarket stuff from other websites, because it seems like it would be a lot cheaper?

How long will Braid line last? - so far 8 years
I started bass fishing in 2009. I put Power Pro Braid on my rods. So far that line is still going strong after 8-1/2 years. It's dealt with sticks, rocks, northerns, sunnies, and bass. I know I should change it. Now that I am using some more expensive lures like Whopper Ploppers that are $16 each, I don't want to lose them because of line break. I know that line is the most important thing between you and fish, it is also what keeps you from losing lures. Every year I cut a foot of line off of my reels and re-tie the KVD Fastach for next year and for my spinning rods just cut a foot off and directly tie to the Senko Wacky rigged or Zoom Super Fluke. The line is still very strong and hasn't broken once (knock on wood), so I just don't see a reason in getting rid of it. To answer some questions: 15lbs and 30lbs. and I store it in my boat in the pole barn. Fish about 12-15 times a year. How much longer can I expect this line to last?

What non-ideal rod to use to fish a Ned Rig out of these two choices?
I have 2 spinning rods that I can use to fish a Zman Ned Rig, however, neither are ideal. One is a Cabelas Tournament ZX Dropshot rod which is 7' long, made for 6-12lbs. line and lure weights that are 1/8 oz - 3/8 oz. It has 15lbs. Power Pro braid. The other is a St. Croix Premier Ultralight which is 4'6" long, made for use with 6lbs. line, and lure weights of 1/16 oz - 1/4 oz. which has 5lbs. Power Pro braid. Basically one is too heavy and the other is too light. My plan was to use some type of Co-Polymer leader on the Cabelas rod so that I can cast longer, although I'll have to be careful not to pull too hard and bend the hook. What rod would you use? And what's a good Co-Polymer leader?

Are Strike King Zeros made with ElaZtech too?

Those are all good choices for Famous. The Rapala wow, perhaps the most successful lure of all time. Have you had a lot of success with the Suicide Duck and WP Double Buzz?

Guaranteed To Catch Bass
I've never used a leader but I use 15lbs. Power Pro braid, not 50lbs; a leader might be a good idea. I've tried Yum Dingers, BPS stickbaits, nothing worked as well as the old Senko. I also use a rubber tubing so that I don't lose so many Senkos.

Pending approval for tw order?
My order got flagged because of my wife's credit card, which is strange because I've used it with TW before. So, I called them and tried the card again and it didn't work again so I had to use my card.
