New Swim Jig Trailer
I don't throw swimbaits as trailers on swim jigs too often. Most of my fishing with swimjigs is around bluegill and I use a Rage Tail Menace A LOT as a trailer Will have to try this though...

Elite Series Aoy Predictions?
No love for Justin Lucas? This dude knows how to catch 'em and is currently sitting in 2nd. He's fished well on fisheries in the north (see Bays de Noc, Cayuga), not sure why I see in discussions elsewhere that the Northern swing will hurt him.... Maybe because he's not a "smallmouth guy", but hes a guy who knows how to fish clear water and seems comfortable when he has to slow down and pull out the spinning rods.

Possible Reasons Why Kvd Has Slowed Down
KVD is currently sitting 7th in the AOY standings. While he's not dominating tournaments and winning titles, I would not say he's "losing his edge" at all.

Images Are Smaller Than They Appear. The Art Of Making A 5# Look Like A 7# Fair Or Foul?
The Gopro's wide angle lens makes a fish held close to your body look 1/2 the size haha. Caught a 6.5 on video and went to pull still images from it that night, the fish looked like a 2.5. No big deal

Sunline Pline Gamma Exp.
I switched to all Gamma this year and have been super please with ALL of their line. I use the Flouro in 6lb, 8lb, 12lb, and 15lb and all have been amazing. The CoPoly is great as well and the Torque braid is one of the better I've used too. I will say one thing, I'm sticking with Gamma for flouro in the future.

Citica I: Am I Missing Something?
I was speaking more in general terms than you specifically. I agree, I haven't paid retail for something in quite awhile. Doing a little work to save a bit of money all adds up

A+ 10/10 Would read again

Citica I: Am I Missing Something?
This wouldn't be the first and won't be the last time someone purchased something after it was on sale and paid more for it. The MAP holiday was to move through inventory.... With ICAST coming up, I'm sure a lot of these companies are just looking to move through inventory with the new arrivals on the way. Just because they CAN and have sold the Curado for $129, doesn't mean that that type of pricing is sustainable or profitable. I think that even at $179, the Curado is a great reel...

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
two new combos this week. *** Black 7'1 MH with a 7.3 ***. Really excited to try what 13 has to offer in this price point. I like the feel of it so far, we will see tomorrow. Will be used for throwing T-Rigs and such. Birthday gift from a good friend- 7'2 MH Shimano Zodias with a Metanium HG Stoked is an understatement

Did I Buy The Right Pop-R?
Look at the lures used for most bass and you'll quickly realize they could change the "magnum" part of the name and noone would object. Get out and fish it!

What's Your Favorite Big Worm And How Do You Rig It?
STOP USING THEM. Upton's Customs don't work at all. Without a hook.....

Ion Camera
Nothing in the action sports camera market can film in the quality a GoPro can with most of the other cameras topping out at 1080p/30fps. However, for the price and the fact that we are filming fishing and not a major motion picture.... Most of the other cameras will get the job done, ESPECIALLY if your only interest and use for it is to shoot clips for social media (which kill the quality of a video anyway...)

Your Average 5 Fish Bag
really depends where I'm at. I have a very lightly pressured body of water that can give up 18-20 just about any day, but most of the water around here is so pressured, I'd be happy to get out with 10-12 with single digits being the average for sure.

What Lures Have You Been Using To Slay The Bass Right Now
A Red Dirt Bladed Swim jig has caught more fish for me this season than any other bait. I'm either fishing it with a Keitech 3.8 as a trailer or a Rage Craw.

Missile Baits Tomahawk 8.75
Throw that Tomahawk on a Swinging Football head and hold on! It's a fun way to fish them and produces

South Jersey Bass Fishing
Hit a new body of water yesterday and did ok. A lot of 2-2.5lb bass with most coming on a chatterbait. Got this guy on a flat with clearer water on my last cast of the day. 1/4oz Strike King Swim jig with a Menace trailer. Fish went 4.5lb believe it or not... I thought it weighed less.

Lure Once Used Frequently But Now Not So Much?
Senko or really any stickbait like that. Not because they somehow became less productive, but because I've forced myself to stay away from them

South Jersey Bass Fishing
Another pretty solid day. Put in at 9 and played with some small bass and the go pro in an attempt to get a fish eating a dropshot on video... Will see how that worked out later when I look at the footage. had 2 good fish today one on a drop shot and the big fish on a swimbait

South Jersey Bass Fishing
Hitting it tomorrow as well. Can't wait

Catching A Fish That Just Threw A Hook?
From my experiences if I stick a fish and the rod bends clear through before they come off, I don't think I've ever caught that fish on a followup cast

South Jersey Bass Fishing
