i would like to take the time in this post to tell you something about sun screen...no matter what time of day or what weather there is...always wear sunscreen...9 coats of spf 75 minimum. i like to put it all over my body...and dont forget another coat just before bedtime.

paddlefish are endangered in alabama...i read on the outdooralabama website that they are excellent caviar producers though it is illegal to harvest them at this time. i was kayaking on the coosa river and found 2 dead juvenile paddlefish floating in the water and reported it to fish and game...they are really awkward looking tiny body and a HUGE head. interesting creature

my neighborhood several years ago had a considerably large population for a semi-suburban area. but we have seen less foxes the last 5 years or so and a population increase in rabbits. my lab brings us "presents" about twice a week. pretty nasty. and the roads are scattered with rabbits. AND we have an increase in red tail hawk population. its amazing how nature works...one animal leaves and is immediatly taken over my another animal
