steady weather up until about 4 days before a major coldfront (drop in 40 degrees) up until that point--steady 80-85 degrees.

at a small pond i fish (5 acres) the bass were hanging on to light structure around the pond. i have not seen one since about two weeks ago. i dont see a bed where i thought they should be (about 3-4 feet of water) are they deeper? did they fly away? i cant find them. :-/

i got my first bass over 4 on my fly rig today. i threw a wet bluegill fly to some grouped small bass and out of nowhere a 4-1 nailed the fly...it scared the mess out of me. all in all i was/am pretty psyched. fishing wasnt that great otherwise--a few dinks but i was very satisfied with my new fly pb...i took the pictures on a disposable so it could be a few weeks before i get them back. peace, murray
