I have a few shimanos and picked up a 13 Met fairy recently but havent fished it. Will no doubt get an MGL in the next couple months. Still love fishing the 200e7 and last season spent most of my time fishing with the ScorpionnXT1000. Also plan to pick up a calcutta conquest as im really starting to like round reels

look for a used shimano citica 200E. always see a few here and there for about 70-80 bucks.

another i like is the duo realis pencil 110 nice sound if makes. caught my PB on it last year

pearl white/ chartreuse tail, midnite chartreuse, also picked up some in a limted color from Dicks called Disco Shad i think. was sort of a light blue color with blue glitter. caught my eye so i grabbed a bag. had good luck with those also

love em. tho ive mostly used the regular Culprit worm. they make fantastic colors- always have good success with black shad and red shad.

anyone fish the newest generation Crucial rods? if so whats your thoughts on em?. they hold up well?. im lookin at the 6'10MH for a spinnerbait/chatterbait setup. can get it for $106 shipped.

id get the Caenan or a daiwa tatula. or even a Citica 200E if u can find a slightly used one. usually go for around 60-80 bucks

anyone own or have owned this reel?. a local shop had a box of reels that were new but without boxes and marked them down significantly so i snagged it. never used a round reel before. was curious as to what techniques anyone has used it for and if theres any upgrades i should look at doing. may end up selling it but i couldnt resist buying it for the price it was. certainly feels solid

if the Inferno 705cb is anything like the Diesel 705cb id go that route. i love that rod. very versatile and extremely light.

watched a few vids on em. they look sick. very tempted. also considering the Met MGL tho. maybe theyll discount the 12 Antares a bit

can most techniques be done on casting rods?. im throwing weightless flukes,senkos plenty far with a medium rod and a 50 size shimano. are there other techniques besides dropshotting that i might be missing out on or a spinning setup would handle better?

are the newer vixens made any different than the older ones everyone goes crazy over ?

will do. there was a couple more left. not sure y i didnt go on and grab those also. but theyre always adding older stuff to the clearance box maybe theyll have some more

anyone ever use the rebel crank r?. my local shop had some in a clearance rack for $2. says made in usa on package. i grabbed 3-4. sounds like it has maybe one rattle in it?. just curious if anyones ever used em and r they any good ?.

slow topwater bite here. i always try toowater tho. caught a couple the other evening on my 2nd outing with the 90 size when they wouldnt bite anything else. just ordered a 130 also

bandits for me have outperformed my other more expensive cranks. theyre becoming a go to lure for me this season. my local shop still has alot of the older packaged USA made ones and ive been stocking up everytime i go in there. hey just flat out catch fish for me when other baits wont. ive bought 20-30 thinking im all set but i may go back and get some more lol
