Favorite Actress And Actor?
There was a favorite movie thread so I figured I'd make this! My favorite actress is Natalie portman! Im obessed with her, I have all her movies and have watched each at least 3 times, my favorite movie with her is probably star wars revenge of the sith but her best acting was done in black swan IMO My favorite actor is Jason statham probably, I like the transporter movies. EDIT: I take that back, Hesher is my favorite portman film, but I'll probably change my mind again in five more minutes...

Anyone Ever Fish With A Snake Type Bait?
Yes it sort of floats, but the weight of the hook will make it sink slowly when used weightless, it can be retrieved on top of the water pretty slow. If you texas rig it weightless cast it out there and retrieve it with a walking the dog popping motion and it will dart and wiggle like a snake!

Catching Crank Fish Right At/under The Boat
I usually just add complete stops to my retrieve every once and awhile when that's happening and it helps, there is always that one fish that makes up its mind as your pulling it out of the water haha

Why Is My Dog All The Sudden Attacking Our Cats?
A few days ago my dog bit one of our cats and would not let go, lucky it was a fluffy cat and he only got a mouth full of fur. He is 13 years old now and is a pekingese, we have 5 cats that all stay indoors and the dog is inside and outside. Used to the only way he would bite you is if you tried to take food from him, but now if one of the cats gets close he takes a shot at them. Do y'all think its just from old age? He also has bad eye sight if that means anything. I'm scared he is starting to get senile and doesn't really know what he is doing. He is a healthy dog for his age and still runs around like a puppy.

How To Help New Anglers
Fishing just might not be their thing... Fishing is the type of hobby that you just have to come to terms with the fact your not gonna hook up everyday. Let them use whatever they want, In fact just let them pick out the lures they use, I think that would make them enjoy it more. I remember when I first started fishing I didn't care for it much because I couldn't consistently catch bass but one day I caught 15 or so bass in one outing on a rapala lure and have been hooked ever since.... When they have that one really good day where they load the boat you'll know whether or not they love fishing.

Another Tarpon
That does sound awesome... I go trout fishing on the flats but I always love hooking up with bigger fish, I've always wanted to catch a tarpon! I will one day!

Recomendation
Just know that you don't NEED mono for cranking, I crank with braid and love it. You can feel absolutely everything your crank does and what kind of cover its coming through or when the slightest bit of grass in on the trebles! And you can get pretty good depth with braid because of its thin diameter even though it floats. Don't be afraid of the zero stretch factor, a correctly set drag and good rod compensate for it

San Diego Jam
I really don't worry about doubled knots bass fishing, I retie often enough that my knot is always at 100% and they are strong enough to hold up... I've gotten snagged with no leader on straight 50lb braid and it takes alot of force to break it when wrapped around pliers or something to hold onto. Knots like the SDJ and Palomar are already very close to 100% knot strength so your line breaks/hook bends out before the knot breaks anyways, so I don't see much point in super knots like the double uni, or double SDJ. But hey it definitely can't hurt!

Another Tarpon
Can you catch tarpon on the flats? In like 4-10 feet of water?

Anyone Ever Fish With A Snake Type Bait?
We have a pond in our yard and I've witnessed a water snake get smashed by a bass, so yes a lure imitating a snake will work. I don't have it with me at the moment but I have a really old hook with a spoon looking thing on it and you retrieve it on top of the water and it makes your worm go side to side like a snake PERFECTLY it is great in shallow water when bass are active. 12" Mann's jelly worm Nuff' said

San Diego Jam
Hmm, thanks for the tip, I've been doing 8 wraps with 50lb braid and 10 wraps with 20-30lb braid. I use the improved clinch with mono and fluoro but I might start using this with that too instead of just braid

What Is Mincemeating My Worms?????
Out of what you listed, its bluegill. Any of the other fish you would hook eventually. Especially if you use a scent like JJ's
