  1. What are some of yalls favorite books that have to do with bass/bass fishing? I want to pick up a few, preferably ones that can be bought online so I can read them on my phone and tablet.

  3. I like using live bait occasionally...
  4. Buzzbaits have been producing well this summer, Texas rigged craws have too, square bill cranks have been getting me alot...
  5. I would definitely be throwing squarebills around those areas in the pictures early in the morning....
  6. I'm a lot more accurate with a baitcaster... But spinning rods are a lot more user friendly.

  8. Maybe it followed the shark up to the top while they were reeling him in... I dunno, how deep would a shark go during a fight?
  9. Rage craw and space monkey, both rigged with 4/0 EWG hooks and fished Texas rigged or weightless. I like green pumkin and black/blue flake.
  10. Bring an extra plug if its a boat trip also... You never know!
  11. Toilet paper, Bio-Degradable would be best haha
  12. Probably a beetle spin, marabou jig, and a very small tube 1inch or less. that way you could catch any fish in the water for a meal.
  13. that's what I was thinking, I always thought to catch a grouper you had to fishing deep structure.. guess that's not true lol
  14. I Texas rig them with a 4/0 EWG or fish them weightless as top waters mostly, My favorite colors are green pumpkin and that black/blue flake color.
  15. Amen to that brotha! I only have 2 modern bass rod and reels but I have 5 or so old reels and pistol grip rods!
  16. Worms are such great lures, just goes to show a bass will bite something its never seen in its life.
  17. Berkley power worm, ole' monster, and manns jelly worm!
  18. The top-water bite is already here! It never left!
  19. Sometimes top waters can produce better than other baits, like mentioned earlier a lot of people fish topwater because they come through thick cover so easily...
  20. Wow that is a skinny looking bass, that for sure would have went 13-14 if it wasnt skinny.... That's a shame, still a pig though!
  21. I have a handful of old baitcasters like the bantam 100 and they are pretty slow, I love them and they catch fish but you have to reel like a madman and its kinda hard with those tiny handles hahaha love my bantams though!
  22. If I ever did spend 20$ on a crank solely for the color it had better not wear off...
  23. those are like 120$! I would be throwing those on like 60lb braid or like 20lb fluorocarbon I wouldnt be taking any chances!
  24. yes, it is all preference, like you said "different strokes for different folks" lol
