Using A Crawfish Swim Jig For Bass In A Lake
I don't fish for smallmouth but I can tell you that a bass will bite a jig/craw lure even if there aren't crawfish in you lake, while the lakes I fish have crawfish (I just don't believe there is a lot of them) I still catch tons of bass on jigs and craw soft plastics. As for your Jig questions they can all be answered if you search for previous threads on this site, tons of good information! http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/12403-jig-fishing-questions/

River Otter: Friend Or Foe?
My papa has always told me he hates otter's because they eat all the fish and they muddy up the water a lot.

Ever Run Into This Type?
The second you purposely damage someone's property just because they were rude is when you are no better than they are and maybe even worse, you need anger management if you lob 2OZ weights at people fishing to close.... lol I will call someone out, But I'm not gonna sit there and argue knowing the other person isn't gonna change their mind. Vandalism - Action involving deliberate destruction of or damage to public or private property.

European "pole" Fishing
I watched the video. I'm saying you couldn't roll the pole behind you if you didn't have room, like a lot of the places I fish are surrounded by thick trees.

European "pole" Fishing
Seems like your kinda limited on where you could fish with that technique, if you don't have a lot of room behind you you can't fish with a really long pole... And if the spot your fishing isn't producing it might be a little bit tedious to just pack up and move. Pretty cool though

Can We Have A Moratorium?
Hey guys quick question, what do you think is the best braided line?
-
What Size Round Reel For A-Rig And Swimbaits
Well it doesn't seem like there are really any cheap low profiles with a large enough line capacity to use swimbaits, so I was gonna get a round reel for around 50-70$ I was thinking about getting a diawa millionaire S and a skeet Reese umbrella rig rod to use for swimbaits but I might just wait... Because I'm gonna have to buy some big ole swimbaits for it anyways which are a good bit of money themselves

Caught A Fishing Rod
Y'all make it sound easy... my papa backlashed and lost his grip on a good baitcasting combo and sent it to the bottom of the lake, we tried fishing for it for a long time and finally gave up lol

What Size Round Reel For A-Rig And Swimbaits
Thinking about getting a round reel, what spool size would you get for the techniques listed. I'm probably gonna be using 20-25lb copoly line like CXX or Yo-Zuri Hybrid. I'm trying to decide between 16/200 size or 20/210 size.... it seems like the 16/200 would have more than enough room for 20-25lb line but I'm not experienced with round reels, should I just go ahead and get the bigger size?

Bank Guys, Are You Using A Bag, Box Or Backpack?
You must have some big pockets to fit those huge swimbaits in them like the one in your profile picture!

Most Versatile Jighead Shape?
Some kind of pointy/cone shaped head with the line tie ethier on the very tip or slightly up.

Trout Swimbaits
No trout swimbaits won't work in lakes with no trout, for the same reason worms won't work in lakes with no worms swimming around and jigs won't work in lakes without crawfish.

Low-Profile Vs Round Baitcasting Reel For A Budget Swimbait Set-Up

Budget Swimbait Rod & Reel
Yeah it was 60$ then they dropped it even lower to 50$ I'm really thinking about ordering it but it might sit reel-less for awhile till I can scrape some extra money together for a decent reel for it.
