The question for me is, what is our moral motivation. If the motive of capital punishment is to "repay evil with evil", then it is wrong by definition. However if after a long documented history of pathological murder one must be exsicuted to assure the safety of the masses then it is certainly justifiable. Civilizations cannot exist without order. Excersizing some control over those who would abuse their power is unavoidable. In this country if you don't like your president you can complain openly and adamantly. If you do it loud enough and long enough you will be a celebrity. In pre war Iraq or N. Korea (the Korean dictator insists on being worhsiped) you would be killed for it. Attitude and adgendas are key. JMHO

You just dont get it because I didnt say my Fritts reels were broken or I forsee them breaking. ;D The Fritts reels that I have are great and I can crank huge crankbaits all day,day in,day out with no problems and I can probably cast farther with my Fritts. Moral of the story: I usually wont fix something that isnt broke. Stay on him Sheriff, he's getting more and more curious all the time. He'll come around soon, of course we all know there's no turning back once you've joined the posse. ;D

My niece was married back in June. It was the first time in 32 years that all of my brothers and sisters were all in the same place. I had seen them each during that time, but it was an amazing reality when we thought about it. Ronnie

Lots of cards, food and stuff from clients. Cooking tools (always). Leatherman multitool. Dick's gift card. "Old Guys Rule" T-shirt (from my oldest). Breakfast with the two mooks. Christmas with my extended family. 2500 miles in 6 days with my two daughters in the Bass Bus (priceless). God is good, all the time. If it were any better, I just couldn't stand it. Ronnie

NJ basic fishing = 22.50 add 10.50 for a trout stamp. Although someone introduces legislation every year to start salt water licensing, so far, it's been shot down every time. I have to wait until next week to get a new one, if I bought it today it would expire tomorrow 12/31/2006. LOL Ronnie

Avid, Thanks for keeping track of all this stuff, great job! I will be bringing my mountain stove, which is two large burners on a folding stand. Of course, anyone needing to cook will be welcome to use it. I will also be bringing a few pots & pans, serving spoons, etc. that will be available to whoever needs them. Myself and the two mooks will be cooking two nights and we will have everything we need to git er dun! I am on the road visiting family and checking in on my sister's dial up. Man this takes forever. After showing up late at Ron's yesterday, he and muddy man put on quite a breakfast spread for me and my girls. How many of you guys got homemade venison sasuage with your western omelets this week. It was great to finally meet the two mooks, and their hospitality is over the top. We got to tell a few fish stories too. I'll trade an old computer keyboard for a breakfast like that one anytime. Did I miss something? I thought they switched to the Beretta 9mm about 10 years years ago and it is still standard Nato issue (including US) You are right the standard Army pistol is a Beretta 92 9mm which the Army cals the M9. Now SOCOM has SIG 228's and HK .45 that they use but the regular Army has Berettas. Allen Been a loong time since I had noticed, (10 years is not that long, is it?) thanks for straightening that out.
