I might try and a get a MH Phenix m1 or maxim that's the rods I use for those applications

I have a Phenix maxim H I use for flippin pitching and froggin and I love the rod! I'd say it's a better bang for your buck than the ghostyou got that right!!nice job any fish in december is good!!jackel flick shake is pretty much the same thing as a thin senko. i personally like the thin senko better for price and colorsthose halo rods are a really good deal but unfortunately at the moment i cant buy one.x2that may be true but I look at is as 6 bucks for a pretty decent tee shirt your down too thrift shop pricing right there and you get a brand new shirt!yea I know but you have to order 150 bucks worth of stuff and you only get one. Not very helpful when you what 4 or 5 new tee shirts and a hoodie...I own the m1 MH and have handled the recon I think I like the m1 feel slightly more but mabey that's only because I've used it.Wow nice fish. fat!im ordering some tackle warhouse shirts 65% off!ive had the same thing happen to me and i was using a full on phenix swimbait rod 7'7 and a big reel and 20 pound test i guess even i was using the right kind of equipment and it still happened... weird.i love the crosstail shad one of my go-to baits. flick shake is a great bait to and so is there squarbill crank they make quality products.whats your take one which is better? i like the fc but still haven't pulled the trigger on the new stuff.
