I'm sure it will work, bass eat almost anything you throw at them. I'd like to see a picture of a bass with a gummy worm in its lip. ;D

I like Rootbeer Green and Pumpkinseed with Blue hilites.
  5. There's a one guy on ebay that I used to buy from that sells shakey worms and he also includes a shakey head with the purchase. Free shipping to boot. They are hand poured and I think his name is hurricane bait company or something to that effect. There are many good hand pours on ebay, I know creek critters makes some good ones too.
  6. I like 3/0 on 5 - 7 inch worms, and 5/0 on 8 - 10 inch worms.
  7. I like to use the old school Zara Spook myself. I usually throw the red and white one for some reason?!? I've read that LC Sammy is easy to get to 'walk the dog'.
  8. I agree!
  9. It will either fade after it hits the water or pretty much wash off.
  10. I picked up a couple of the Castaic 6" Slow sinking swimbaits for $8 or so. Those things are AWESOME. They have a super slow fall, but they are really quite heavy. Should be great for a slow retrieve. Anyone else use these?
  11. I bought one at walmart, thought I'd give them a second try. I wish they would have painted the jig head though.

After reading this thread I've already bought 6 more Rattle Traps. Please stop listing favorite colors, so I can stop buying them!! BTW.... I like the chrome/blue black
  13. LureCraft sells a type of paint that is intended to be used on soft plastics. You might call them up and see what the paints called, that would give you a better idea of what to look for. Chances are though you probably won't find what you are looking for.

Jig Man.... Do you mix that resin up like it says on the container, in terms of ratio of the hardener?? Also, what kind of temperature can you make molds in?
  16. Now the only thing you need is some open water! Those chompers jigs are a good choice, I like them a lot.
  17. I just bought a few rattle traps today. Those 1oz. are to big for me!
  18. I give them 2 thumbs up. Great bait for the super shallow waters.
  19. Usually a week or a little longer. Thats why I try to order from other places. Delmarts shipping is high and slow. When I order some molds from bobstackleshack it costs $5 for as many molds as I want, and I recieve the goods within 3 days!
  20. Google UpperHand Scents, the Hawg Sauce is what I use in my hand poured lures. The smell is pretty intense!
  21. I like the Manns frog but I haven't used it much. I'm in love with the soft plastic frogs. Maybe this spring I'll try out the Manns frogs more.

There's nothing funner than throwing a frog on calm water as the sun is coming up! It's magical!!

I got my Hand Tied treble hooks in from SPEEDBEAD! They look beautiful! There was a great assortment and he even threw in a small Plano Box! Thanks again!
