  1. I like it. Much better mobile set up.
  2. I'm with ya, but my fear of snakes won't let me go down there... I've seen those movies! lol.
  3. For my daughters troop. $4 per box fellas. Let me know what you want and I'll get them to ya. Deleveries start coming in second week of January. Thanks guys.
  4. On like donkey kong! As always, family friendly event correct?
  5. I joke about it a lot, but don't think I would actually ever do it. I just don't see them as practical (especially around my location). I've gone the cheap popup, bumper pull, RV direction and learned the hard way you definitely get what you pay for most times it those scenarios.... They nickel and dime you to death. Can only imagine what a floating one would be like... My thoughts, If you can't afford a Lake of the Ozarks Yacht, I suggest keeping the tent packed and the bass boat hooked up!
  6. You can't go wrong with a Champion. Solid dependable boats. The mariner wouldn't be my first option, but every manufacturer has issues. It's all in maintenance and luck. Pictures would help, but if it's clean you aren't getting hurt.
  7. I'd like too, however my schedule may not work with the rest of the group. I'm out from the 24th-1st.
  8. These should be $100 reels. You won't find a better reel for spinnerbaits, wobblers and top water than these. Will definitely be picking up a FEW.
  9. I'll take this over what OKC got this weekend all day every day. lol
  10. Sounds like it's too far gone for this. However, after the install, buy a small can of all-in-one oil and keep it lubed.
  11. Definitely an inducer motor. Get the numbers and get it from hvacpartsoutlet.com I managed 75 rental houses all with similar models. Easy install yourself if you are handy. Parts range from $125-$300 depending on model.
  12. Just let me know. Taking pre orders now for a troop quantity. Cookies come in first of feb.
  13. Hey guys, my daughter is taking pre orders for girl scout cookies. Let me k ow what you want. $4 per box
  14. Sorry to hear about the passing of your grandfather. I also urge your to start this spring. You sound as though you have a good head on your shoulders and are focused in, don't allow time for something to get in the way of that. You being near home will do what it needs to do for your family. Get what you need to get done for your future. Stay strong.
  15. I'm going to have to respectfully disagree with you on this one. Once you have a sponsor... you basically have a job and your job is to A) Make said company money by promoting and being a walking/talking commercial for their products and Represent said company in a professional manor to appeal to the masses. Don't do your job... and watch how fast they bring you back to reality.
  16. Unless someone affiliated with either of those is paying for it or any part of your fishing, go for it.
  17. Heard that... Wonder where we get them all from???
  18. Dude... I didn't break 4lbs on a freaking largie this year... Definitely how it goes...
  19. Depressing year for big fish for me. Couldn't find a "Kicker" to save my life. Caught a ton of fish this year but never got into a big girl... except for the freak at DOCO that still kicks the jewels quite often... 2015 Biggest Local Bass-(largemouth and/or smallmouth) Weight (or length if you didn't have a scale): Largemouth- 3.12 Smallmouth- 3.1 Lure: Largemouth-C&C Football Jig (black/blue with craw trailer) Smallmouth- Bone Spook Pattern: Largemouth- Counting rocks Smallmouth- Walking it Lake: Largemouth- Lacygne Smallmouth- The Vern Time of Year: Largemouth Late Summer Smallmouth- Mid-September
  20. Sounds like you need to fire your maintenance guy... hehe
  21. Really all the things you are talking about are pretty cheap fixes (lower unit oil, bearings and livewell pump). Since it is a new to you boat, I would go ahead and replace the bearings (do not over grease them). Then you know the date and about how many miles you are putting on them. Lower unit oil is simple. Just be sure to check on the back of the plug you pull out for metal shavings (the plug has a small magnet on the end of it). Id say that there is a bad spot in the wiring for your livewell pump. It could be in the switch, wiring, or in the pump itself. They are pretty cheap to replace, and not hard at all if you are handy. I replaced bilge and livewell pump as soon as I got my last boat home. Just better safe than sorry. I'd also recommend running some gas treatment through it this time of year. I've had great luck with STA-BIL and HEET. Make sure you keep your batteries hooked up to an onboard charger, battery tender, or trickle charger to keep them from freezing in cold weather. Should be good to go with that.
