4.5 inch worms are the most common DS baits, but you can DS almost anything. I have heard of guys dropshotting jerk baits and cranks.

I have seen this before and I had another thought. What if both bass were trying to eat the same bait. Bass get pretty worked up when they are feeding.

Just cover up guys! If God had intended for us to run around naked, we would have been born that way!

I think he means "hot" as in fresh. Braid allows more slack on the jump, as you probably already know. My guess would be hook sharpness as the one variable you can control. I had three cranks spit back at me this week, but landed 7.
