Yep thats good for a laugh

Its head is to big to be a non poisonous snake . It a bad picture it either a Cotton mouth or a Copper head. When growing up in the south hunting and fishing you better know the difference from non poisonous to poisonous snakes. Just incase you didn't know it is illegal to kill them in Tenn. That my friends is a stupid law !!! ( The only Good snake is a dead snake).

I just installed a Keel shield on my boat. It comes with everything you need except rubbing alcohol and papertowels. and its best to have an extra pair of hands. You only get one shot at it. So you must get it centered.

I still use the reels. They are easier for me to tie my line to because I have fat fingers. Thats what I learned on and use today. Most of my reels are Abu Garcia's and a couple are Diawa's I only have one low profile and its a Abu. So yes there still people out here that like those reels.

Welcome young one. Bass fishing is a great sport. There is a lot of nice folks on BR with tons of info. I know your along ways off from having to worry about Uncle Arthur and his brothers so take some advise and take care of yourself ,don't pop your knuckles!! Everyday I wake up I hurt. My neck, back, hands and knees. Lets just say I keep the Orthopedic doctor busy. I love fishing so some days harder than other days. You have a long way to go so have fun .

I did the same thing a couple weeks ago. Insted of digging out the back lash I just untangoed my line from the trolling motor ,threw the rod in the storage bend and got out another rod.

I just remembered back in the 80's about 5 to 5.5 on a Zebco 33 combo on a hotdog. I had to run up the bank with it because I COULD NOT REEL IT IN. Released it after a big ole kiss

I just wonder how you remember all that info. That would make you my age and I can't remember what I did yesterday.

I buy live bait when my grand son go's with me. I'm not ready to put a bait caster reel in his hands! yet. His cheep zebco and worms,minnows and crickets will have to do until he get alot bigger

I just Donated I hope that all the West Tn Fisher Men and Women will do the the same. We get alot of Bad storms all the time. So help make a child smile. There's nothing like watching a childs exspression we they catch a fish.

Different strokes for different folks. I guess they censure the word doow*p is because they don't won't Italian to be upset or insulted with the term W*p or D**o . I 'm half Italian and all of my mothers side of the family got real angry when they heard those words. The words don't bother me because I'm American and the other half of me is Irish.I'm a Hinze 57 But thats why they censure the word. (That is my opinion) Fish on

I faced another situation like this in the 80's. My grand Mother passed and we were at the funneral home when my mothers older sister introduce me to one of my 1st cousins that I had never met. He was about five years younger than me. He's one of my mothers brothers sons that my uncle had not seen since my cousin was a baby. My cousin came up to me and aske me who that man? He was pointing at his father . I said you don't know? He said no! I hesitated to say anything and thought about my son that I was looking for and I turned to him and said thats you father. He walked off not saying anything. After about 30 min. he came back and ask me to introduce him to his father. They stayed intouch with each other until my uncle passed away. You never know whats going to comes out of these situations. Some time the desire to know brings us to a new place in our life.

I agree With Jeff. I searched for my oldest son for 15 yrs. My father told me to leave it be but in my heart I had to know. I found him and at the time I had almost wished I hadn't. He was 15 and alot of trouble. It broke my heart but I never quit loveing him. To make a long story short He lives in middle Tn and I live in west Tn. I talk to him aleast three times a week and he comes and visits as often as he can. I'm so Glad I never Gave up on him I always hoped he would straiten up and he did and now I very proud of him.

Rock-n-Roll was born in Memphis Tn. at Sun records in July 1954 with Elvis Presley Thats All right mama. I too was born same town same year and I play classic rock 68-85 and SRV and KWS Blues On my 96 and 97 Fender american Stratocaster Guitars. and Fender Tube amps. Just like the King I love Rock-n-Roll Harley Davidsons and Fishing.
