Maryland- Triadelphia Reservoir
yeah, I think so There were plenty of bigger boats out there. I would make sure to bring waders just in case! I am pretty sure I saw a ranger or two out there last time. I'd love to see you out there, there are fish to be caught

Flippin stick question
I reccomend a 7'6. Although it is a little long, I think that the extra leverage will help you pull that fish of a lifetime from the cover quicker than a shorter rod might. I think the extra length will come in handy. If you can wait, I'd reccomend trying an Airrus N-Sync. If you cant wait, go for a 7'6 Ultra XL from airrus. heavy or XH should do the trick. I like Heavy action because it doubles as a great carolina rig and deep crankbait rod. Their warranty is one of the best in the business. If you break it, you will get a free replacement, no questions asked. He might ask you why you were dumb enough to shut it in a car door though - and then replace it after laughing at you. I would go extra length and extra strength to catch the extra big ones from the extra thick cover

Hey guys, This is the results from my first trip out using my new Airrus rods. I LOVE the Ultra XL in medium casting for shallow-mid crankbaits- it is awesome!!! They were 3 lbs 8 ounces and 2 pounds 7 ounces- not big for most, but I dont see to many smallies around here.

Maryland- Triadelphia Reservoir
Hey guys Went fishing on sunday after church. I ended up with 2 smallies and one fluke crappie. All were caught on a mid diving (i think around 10 ft) Storm Wiggle Wart in hot tiger color. I also had some hookups at a couple other spots, but didnt put any more in the boat. O yeah- the smallies were the two biggest I have ever caught! 3.5 pounds and 2.5 pounds....will post pictures soon!

Maryland- Triadelphia Reservoir
The water level is low, but the greenbridge ramp is open. That is the one at the sharp turn in the road. I want to get out there every sunday after church 'til they close it. They are really biting.

Maryland- Triadelphia Reservoir
Anyone fished it since it has been opened? I am a mere 10 minutes away, and took the boat out there alone today. I ended up with 3 fish, but I was working out technical difficulties most of the time If anyone has fished there recently, and would like to help me out- PM ME. I would love to get out there a few more times before it gets way to cold. Does it shut down for the winter, or is it always open? Thanks fellas Ben

Dad's Bday, Abu's Revo STX or Shimano Curado??
I'm a daiwa guy, and have some japan version daiwa alphas and daiwa alphas ito.....I LOVE THEM Recently I got the NEW Curado, and it blew away my old one. It casts smooth, and the reeling is even smoother. It shocked me to see how much they improved on the old plastic curado. Check out tackletour.com 's review on each of the reels. They gave the curado editors choice. I highly reccomend it. ALSO: I dont know how the Abu Garcia warranty is, but with shimano, you will never have to pay anything to replace a broken reel- even though they rarely break. I'm in no way the shimano posse, but I am just sharing my experiences.

Re: Favorite Rod company?
I have tried tons of rods, including many upper end kistlers, g loomis, and customs. I must say that gblanks are nice, but i tried to contact the owners to buy a rod and they were kind of unresponsive through email, and that is really only what I have time to do- but they may be better these days. I'd have to say that Airrus offers a wide selection in the price range, and have mademore incredible innovations to the rod making industry than anyone else has. In their new puls-r and N-Sync rods, a new technology involving nanotubes (i dont want to take 3 paragraphs to explain how it works) which makes the rod considerably lighter and more sensative. Not to mention, most of their rods have the built in weight balance port, which allows the user to insert weights to balance the rod (making it feel like a feather, and decrease fatigue). All in all- they have won the ICAST (Huge tackle show in CA) BEST OF SHOW for the rod category in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006. That must mean something!!! Check them out, they have a rod to suit anyone's budget. Call Ken the owner (# on website), and he would love to help you pick out a suitable rod! . . . and YES, I AM sponsored by them, because I belive in Airrus' products. www.rodsbyairrus.com

Heading to the Junior World Championships. . .
Hey guys, thanks for the support!! I no longer need a rod sponsor, I am now part of the Airrus Jr. Prostaff. They are winners of the Icast Rod Best of Show for 02,03,04, and 06. I am really glad to be able to represent them, and hope that I can do a good job representing them down at the JWC. Ben

Heading to the Junior World Championships. . .
I dont know how many actual "sponsors" read this section of the site, but I just wanted to give it a try, as I'm starting to get worried that I wont have many people to represent when I am down in Alabama.: My name is Ben Dziwulski, and I am a 16 year old male living in Maryland. After having a very succesfull tournament season this year in my Jr. Bassmaster club, I qualified for my Jr. State Championship. This tournament was held September 15, 2006. Well after a hard day of fishing on the Potomac River, I was fortunate enough to outfish the other 30 Jr. Competitors, and win the tournament by a couple pounds. Due to this success, I qualified for the Jr. Maryland State Fishing Team. This is a team in which the top state junior qualifiers compete against other states. Also, due to the state win, I qualified for the Junior World Bassmaster Championships. This is a tournament in which I will competing against about 45 other Jr. Bassmasters from around the world (USA, South Africa, and New Zeland). The tournament will be held on Lake Logan Martin just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. It is on February 18, 2007, just before the Bassmaster's Classic. During the tournament, I will be fishing along side the adult Bassmaster Classic tournament qualifiers. It should be an amazing experience, and I look forward to gain a great amount of knowledge from the BASS champions. I already have a couple GREAT soft plastic sponsors, and they really help me out. If you would like me to possibly try to help market your product (of course I have to try it before I can promote it), I would love to help. please contact me if you have any questions. I am especially intrested in finding a good spinnerbait, crankbait, and rod company. Accomplishments: tournament accomplishments: 1st Place- Maryland ALL-State Jr Championship 6 First Place Junior Bassmaster club tournaments(10 tournaments, never finished out of top 3) 2 Second Place Junior Bassmaster club tournaments 2 Third place Junior Bassmaster club tournaments. Other: National Honors Society 3.9 unweighted GPA Varsity Basketball and Football Basketball All-County Rookie of the year Five Star Baskatball camp- Sportsmanship Award Priorities in order: God Family School Fishing Thank you for your time Ben Dziwulski GOD BLESS b23ball23fisher@hotmail.com edited: PLEASE offer your thoughts, negative or positive, as they will help me in the future!
