Im fishing out of NH. I start fishing as soon as the lakes have hit Ice out, usually late March or early April. I usually have tied on a jig, some plastics on a football head jig, Shaky head worm, jerk bait, blade bait. I hope this helps. Im pretty sure he pleaded to the Felony so he will server around 20 months. I personally think he is done as an athlete. Its 2yrs out of the league for his time and then the NFL will be sure to give him some discipline as well. So say 3 yrs he will be out of the league. He wasnt a great QB when he was in the league. He is an extraordinary athlete but put his athleticism on the shelf for 3 yrs and he is all done. He isnt a great QB that masters the mental side of the game that Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Donavan Mcnabb do. Vick just relies on his running and mediocre arm to get him out of jams. My thoughts anyway.

But we have had so long a stretch of losing Patriots have gone 1-15 before, We all know how long it took the Red Sox to win, The Bruins havent won since I was born, Celtics havent won since the 80s. There is parity what you are looking at are coaches who see talent and know how to acquire it. The Raiders should be shot for letting Moss go to the Patriots for 1 4th round draft pick. Lets not forget that Tom Brady was a 6th round draft pick, in theory that means every team passed on him 5 times.

The Patriots have an axe to grind on the Jets. I seriously think this will be a blowout in history making blowout proportions. My guess 75-9.

I hear ya Matt. BTW I wanted to ask what the h3ll happened to UT against Texas A&M. Thats about the only game I try and watch every year other than when BC and Notre Dame play. But I have never seen UT come out and play so flat and what looked like to be so uninspired. What happened?

I know there is a large portion of our BR members that are hunters and probably more that are hikers/outdoor enthusiasts. I just wanted to give you guys fair warning that these days are getting colder and to be prepared for the weather out there. Also to bring a partner along with you when you go trekking out in the woods this time of year. We here in NH are following a story very closely of a local old hunter that has gotten himself lost in a state park. You can read more about the story here. Wow, yea I forgot how the Patriots video taping the Jets defensive signals in game 1 would help them win the next 11 games that didnt include the Jets. Im glad your not bringing it up, just because your sore on the Patriots win streak. Don't Hate Appreciate. I mean it wasnt the Patriots that went 59:30 mins against Miami and went scoreless. Then ended up only scoring 3 points in the whole game.

Well the Steelers represent the biggest challenge in the the remaining regular season schedule for the undefeated Patriots. So what kinda of game is this going to be? What will the score be? I have absolutely no idea. I do know that Coach Bill Belichick gave the weary bunch an extra day off. They have Tuesday and Wednesday off this week. I think that the 3 straight prime time games are getting to them and the Steelers on a shortened week, just doesnt look good. So what team shows up to play? Is it the team that put the Redskins down 52-7, or the team that squeaked by the Eagles and the Ravens. This also goes equally for the Steelers as well. Is it the team that beat these same Ravens 38-7, or the team that lost to the Jets 19-16 in OT. I know from here on out every team that is playing the Patriots , it will be their biggest game of the season. They all want to be the ones that knock off the Patriots and spoil their hopes at going undefeated. Im pulling for my team the Patriots, no surprise there. Patriots 35 Steelers 21 GO PATS!!!!

We got 4-6in of snow in my area of NH sunday/monday. Heavier amounts were reported further north of here in the amounts of 12-18in. I have heard that we are expecting another possible snow storm here on friday. I havent heard any predictions on amounts yet. Not looking forward to winter.

Well, catching bass at Bienville is not really fishing. It's like going on a canned hunt. Reminds me of all those Bill Dance shows where he's fishing in phosphate pits that are not open to the public and normal fishing pressure. If a fishing show host is unwilling to fish public waters I am not interested in watching. NOW that is something I have been saying for years. If the host is only fishing private water then thats nice and all but its isnt helping me any. Why I have more respect for fishing show hosts that go to public waters aka Hank Parker, In Fishermen, Denny Brauer, Mark Zona to name a few.

I fish Canobie lake quite often in fact. The body of water I fish the most is easily Cobbets Pond, in Windham NH. I have fished some lakes just over the border in Mass probably the closest one to you would be Lake Attitash in Merrimack.

Hehehe... Just like a Colts fan to complain about the Refs in a Patriot's win. Especially after the outcome of the game you guys had against the Jaguars and the over turned calls that you guys got. On the Moss TD, seemed to me the DB went for the all too common fade in the far endzone corner and Moss broke it into the inside and he was open. Anyway it was a close game. I give the Ravens team all the credit they deserve for putting up a tight close battle it was very impressive. I just cant understand they can play like that and have a losing record.
