  9. Look up Tom monsoor on YouTube he's the man with swim jigs.
  10. Are you looking for a guide? But I would suggest cedar creek lake it was made in 2002 and has great state management. It is a trophy bass lake, 20" keeper one fish limit. Lots of standing timber. If that's not appealing to you taylorsville is always nice.
  11. For what it's worth I would take a lews over any of the "higher end" revis or shimanos. Lews makes an exceptional reel and they are high end also.
  12. 14lb stren original I genrally only throw squarebills.
  13. Yea just check your line for weak spots and you will be fine, it's a good habit to get into.
  14. it depends on the type of cover or presentation I willl be fishing on my line size. Also you don't want to use say 60-80 braid with 6 pound fluro leader just setting yourself up for dis appointment.
  15. "You won't catch nothing on that rubber thing." My grandma used to tell me that all the time, but she's a cane pole red worm kind of women.
  16. I really like the bass pro hooks $7 for 25 ain't bad, and imo they're good quality.
  17. I've always tore them apart.
  18. My choice also Norman fatboy in black back chartuse to be exact.
  19. Square bills
  20. I would suggest a halo daylite 7'MH great rods at a very good price and a pretty good warranty. I'm pretty sure it is free to replace for a year and $20 for each replace for 10 years after the free one year they are nice rods for $80.
  21. Yea cats are a big predator especially flatheads. During the warmer months I have noticed all species of catfish to be much more agressive and feed a lot more because the warm water boosts there metabolism. According where you are ar this time of year cats could either be pre spawn or post spawn and in those two times they become more agressive then they already are to get *** before they enter their den to guard the eggs or lay the eggs. But either way to me it sounds like you have a good problem catfish are tasty.
  22. Good job dad, some parents these days are to wrapped up in themeselves and just throw their kids down it's a shame.
  23. Might not be the best thing but it always seemed effective for me, I would always tell my parents that I do good in school do anything you ask of me and bring up how I'm a good kid and don't do drugs or hang out with the wrong crew it's worth a try .
  24. A jig pitched into the heart of the nastiest timber I can find.
