  1. Blues even prettier undefeated.
  2. You guys know you like Shake it off, atleast just a little?
  3. Forgot to mention the shock version not the original. Yea it will be great for what you want they are made for braid so I assume the tip is a little softer because of that reason. So with mono it would probably be like a moderate taper and that would be what you want, helping keep you form ripping the bait from the fishes mouth on the set. Of course if my assumption is right about the softer tip for braid, which I think it is because the description of the rod on tackle warehouse says " Traditional rods often can't accommodate for the lack of stretch and extreme strength of braided line, resulting in the angler yanking the hooks out of the fish's mouth." So I assume im right.
  4. Squarebill crankbait it is meant to be used aroind that stuff it will bounce right off. I agree with scale face also jig and pig.
  5. You can't go wrong with any lews reel that is $100 or more in my opinion.
  6. Go to ebay and type in flip ultra hd they are great little cameras very good picture I've had one for over 5 years and they can be bought for $50 or less on eBay.
  7. YUCK to your idea lol. But I always enjoy a good tuna salad.
  8. Don't know if they still do it but the ghost rods use to ten yellow after a while.
  9. If your looking to spend around $30 check out the berkely lighting rods at wal mart. They are $40 and a lot better then that Rod very durable. They make it in a 6'6 medium it would be just fine for squarebills.
  10. And people acted like I was crazy when I made a post saying casting jigs was a lost art.
  11. I think the setup I've chosen is a lews tournament mg 7.1.1 of course and a abu veracity 7'6 mh unless somethubg at sportsmans warehouse catches my eye lol.
  12. If anyone gave you a hard time for something you worked hard to get they need serious help. My boat is a 94 and looks a lot better then most newer boats I see around here.
  13. There good rods the twilight series is really nice.
  14. I say if you like spinning reels stick with them! I can't use spinning reels very well but I can cast a bc like crazy ? Anyways I've had a 6'6 mh daylight for about 2 years it's a good little Rod I use if for Poppers.
  15. Sales. Bought a lews tournament mg for $90 today really shouldn't have lol.
  16. Yea I really like them my most expenisve rods, but got osme money saved up so figured why not splurge a little lol.
  17. Ahh ok but is your 7'6 a mh? Just wandering cause I know a mh veritas is basically like a heavy everything else.
  18. You are talking about the vertias 2.0 in mh right?
  19. I haven't looked at the villain but im sure it is the same way, I notice on the veritas and veracity the 7'6 mh lure rating is 3/8 to 1-1/4oz is this because of the longer rod? Or is it beefier than the 7' versions? One more question for you cause I haven't found anyone else with a 7'6mh would you feel comfortable flipping moderate to heavy grass and wood with it?
  20. The grass I'll flip won't be to thick I'll be casting mostly. Has anyone used a 7'6 mh veritas or veracity ?
  21. 7'6 feels weird to me couldn't imagine 7'11 in just 5'7 and stubby lol.
  22. I'm sure someone will have somethibg to say. Give them time to get home and they will share !
