It's the principal of it! JOCO residents pay enough taxes to fish and put a boat in for free, charge the non residents. $20 to put a kayak in and another $10 to fish, then add another $20 wifes kayak and another $20 if I want to put the big boat in. It's crap. Don't even get me started on the county commission.

heck me too since I live 5 minutes from the 79th street entrance. Talk about getting tickets...SMP is a good place to get one.

might get it checked to make sure you didn't get any sand in the impeller.

I wouldn't get too worried about it until they announce how they are going to fund it.

forgot to add bladed jig, jig, wobble head, and I've seen fish come on probably 5 or 6 different big swim baits.

Next year just be a BA state what the rules are. All you need is a lighter, some hot glue, and a new tip to fix it.

I rolled by the arms of truman on 13 yesterday, it's a warm brown color right now. I mean one step from chocolate milk. But it way up from last week. I think we have a good alternate plan. Now if someone would just catch a keeper.

Pointer Puppy
Nothing better than having your own dog to hunt behind. My GSP Ranger is a machine, just love watching him work. One thing I learned is the guy with the dog still has work to do when the hunt is over.

Good point.

The fish in that lake do like a big swimbait, not a paddletail. The only thing about Coffey is if the wind hits 20mph once they'll call you off.

Best big swimbait
I'd skip the BBZ1 and just get a 5" Bullshad. Swaver, shine glide, or gantrel jr would be other good choices.

still says 15 on the website. I get it, but most don't take bass pass into account when fun fishing.

So you didn't catch any keepers? Melvern is 18" for both LM and SM, spots are 15".

Ruff water
idle and full throttle.

Durable rod and reel
I second the St. Croix Mojo for durability. There are so many good baitcast reels out there and everyone has their favorite, I'd hit up the flea market on here for a reel.

No doubt. I think we made a 20 mile run about noon and you know who I was with.

Go big or Go home? baits eddition
I'd say get a bluegill like a gantrel jr and an swaver 168 and once you've satisfied your quantity fix for the day learn how and where to fish them. In my opinion the best starter swimbait is a jackall mikey because it works great without any mods and is super easy to fish. I know a couple of guys who really like the rat and have caught some good fish on it. Not a swimbait but a KVD 8.0 might be a good investment also. If you want to step up in price there are so many options out there. Smaller fish will definitely strike at a big bait getting a hook in them is sometimes tough and can be frustrating.

Something was popping landing the wabuansee flathead, didn't know you were a plumber. You do love that spook.

Talk me out of a Mojo, please.
Then you can send them in for another $35 and get 2 mojos when they break. There is something wrong with these rage rods they have discounted. I personally broke 2 swinging a 2lb fish and seen a third break in the exact same spot. A $70 mojo is a good deal and you won't find a better rod for that price. I'll spilt the shipping cost with you and we can spilt them up.

Chartreuse head ivy wobbler? Mine have a white head.

whopper plopper?
I've seen the 90 catch plenty of fish and some will tell you the opposite. I think they both have have their place depending on the situation. I think the 130 is easier to fish.

it's $15 to send it in if you get the label from St. Croix and $20 for them to send it back, for as many rods as you can fit in a tube.
