It really varies, but I would say on a yearly basis well over $1000. Some of that comes from selling stuff off to buy newer/different stuff, the rest is TW, BPS and other online retailers.

I have a pair of Strike King glasses which have served me well over the past two year, however just got a pair of Maui Jims for my birthday and have to say it is a big leap forward in quality and sun mitigation while on the water. I am keeping the SK for back-ups now, the MJ's are my new go to glasses for fishing and driving for that matter.

I watch a ton of fishing videos on YouTube, its a great place to get a different point of view on a subject or see how someone else approaches the same technique. I really enjoy TackleJunky81, *, Kevin Bullington, Bass Reasource and a few others. As far as content I like all different video types; how-to, tips and tricks, technique specific how-to's and the unboxing videos. For the unboxing videos I appreciate the opportunity to see new tackle that I do not have, may be looking to buy, or would not normally buy. Gives a good view of bait and unique features of it in someone's hands up-close rather than looking at it on a website.

I prefer to fish with someone else, it is usually my brother. Helps to have two heads working on what the fish are looking for rather than one.

Once so far, brand new Strike King spinnerbait when I first go back into fishing. My knot was tied but very poorly and came un-tied on the cast and I watched the spinnerbait hit the water and subsequently sink to the bottom never to be seen again.

Got my TW order in last night, will get some pics up once it arrives.

I used it all year last year and part of this year without any issues.

Start of the summer was pretty good, but from mid-August on I haven't caught much in the way of Bass. Did get a couple of nice Pike, the first time that I have caught one (ended up with two that day) so that was cool.

MH should be fine provided you are not throwing into heavy cover.

Baseball is no different, they go to an arbitrator for every single suspension they just don't get dragged out for months on end like this one did.

Patience is my biggest issue.

I am sure you do, just like me. But I would like to see them go to a group that is getting off the ground and just doesn't have the baits to get everyone on the water learning and enjoying the sport.

I have a bunch of jigs, spinner baits and soft plastics that I would like to send off to a fishing club just trying to get off the ground or that needs baits. Its a descent size box of stuff so any help on freight would be appreciated but not necessary (it is a 12" x 8" x 4" box stuffed with tackle). Shoot me a PM with some information and I can get this shipped out.

I have been watching shark week since it started, and to be honest it is getting a bit disappointing. I used to like learning about all the different types of sharks and see the cutting edge new research methods. Now it is all about finding huge great whites, while I love seeing huge great whites as much as the next, lets get it back to learning about all types of sharks. One of my favorites this year was about the Mako sharks and the seven gills. Pretty interesting stuff there.

Normally a large cup of joe on the way to the water, a water or two during the day and maybe a Pepsi if I am thinking of it. Food wise it is generally just a bag of chips or something small like that, also like to bring a bag of Jerky on the boat (more filling than the chips).

I have had great success buying off Ebay when it comes to reels; got a Daiwa PX-Type R for a great price, and a KVD spinning reel. Take a good look at the photo's, ask questions, check feedback and make sure that you work through Ebay/PayPal to purchase the reel to protect yourself.

Had some success with chatterbaits, wacky rigging and Havoc Creature baits that I never took the time to fish. Got a Curado baitcaster and Okuma crankbait rod as well and I have d**n near worn that combo out fishing it they just works great together.

Guys like Cam Newton just do not last in the NFL, he is not a true passer and that will start to become very apparent in the years to come. He is a gifted athlete but I see the speed of the game and the quality of defense quickly catching up to him and scheming him out of the starting job.
