  1. Popper, T-Rig, and working cover with a jig.
  2. Very impressive, sir. Well done.
  3. I do have an older Lucky Craft Kerrol popper that I just traded from someone. So I'll be trying that out this spring. Any of you use it as an alternative to the Pop X?
  4. 6 pound smallies count too, Dwight.
  5. I have part of the day off today, so I decided to make some threads. How many of you have caught a double digit bass? What did you catch her on? What lake?
  6. Yeah I didn't figure this sport pays off for most of you.
  7. We're trying to mystify you......
  8. Ouch! I'd probably take a Megabass Destroyer Phase 3 with a Shimano Antares on it.
  9. Same here.
  10. Wow. That's an impressive haul. Great job.
  11. I really can't answer this, because I haven't yet fished competitively, but I thought this would make a good thread. What's the most you've won in a fishing tournament or competition?
  12. Look up KeepinItReelFishing's vid on it. I personally can't justify a lure that expensive but if I'd had some more money I'd come up with some justifications real quick .
  13. I swing any fish under 2 pounds, and I lip anything else. I fish with jigs and soft plastics 80 percent of the time, so when I am fishing with treble hooks I just am a little more careful.
  14. I guessed 52 pounds 7 oz for fantasy fishing.
  15. Have fun! I don't have any heavy cover situations in my ponds, but that sounds like a blast.
  16. Half of SK's lures suck?
  17. As if you didn't mind a "young intrusion" on this thread enough, I decided to make fun of failing memories. A few old couples used to get together to talk about life and to have a good time. One day one of the men, Harry, started talking about this fantastic restaurant he went to the other night with his wife. “Really?”, one of the men said, "what’s it called?" After thinking for a few seconds the Harry said, “what are those good smelling flowers called again?” “Do you mean a rose? the first man questioned. “Yes that’s it,” he exclaimed. Looking over at his wife he said, “Rose what’s that restaurant we went to the other night?”
  18. Diawa includes dryers as well. Just another reason to switch. JK
  19. If at all possible I would fish the day before and make sure you have some productive spots and baits marked out. Stick with the basics and go from there. Good luck!
  20. You have stumbled upon a treasure. That particular lizard turns invisible upon someone spotting it. Of course, it's not practical for fishing, but as a collector's item I dare say you could get 50 grand for it.
  21. My fantasy team is: -Aaron Martens -Casey Ashley -Edwin Evers -Andy Montgomery -Jacob Wheeler My favorites are (I'm with Fluke here) Ike and Palaniuk, but in the sections I had to pass them up. I also think Mike McClelland should do well since jerkbaits will be involved.
  22. How do you gain confidence in what color to throw? Use some colors, have success with them, find some favorites, and throw them.
