I've got two. #1: Fishing from a johnboat on bass that had never seen a topwater before. Sure, it was half cheating, but seeing 20+ fish blow up on your Hula Popper in less than an hour was fun! That's a bass every three minutes. The hard part was taking out the trebles. #2: A hot, hot afternoon in NC. One fish. Of course, that fish just happened to be 7 3/4 pounds, my pb. Funnest fight ever!

Well, dropped back to 96% today.....Things went a little too close for my comfort. Boom Boom and Cliff Prince are out, and get this: Jacob Powroznik and Bill Lowen made 50th and 51st places, respectively. WHEW! Three of my guys fishing tomorrow. Bill Lowen is in 6th place, he made up some good ground. Hoping he'll get in the top twelve.

Unbelievable day for Ike, tied for 98th place with 10 people. Having caught 5 fish? Nope. Not 4 either, or one. SKUNK!!! He was dominated in fantasy fishing too, the people who picked him are gonna be SO ticked.

Yes! Made up some good ground today. Forgot to set a tiebreaker for the event, which would suck if I won and lost because of that. But it's not looking like I will. Today was all about survival, unlike most tourneys where day 3/4 is about survival. The bay is in a funk, and weights are predicted to rise through the week. My day one roster shot me up to 98%, the highest I've gotten. SO proud of Cliff Prince for making top 50 exactly, even with a bag of small fish. At least he wasn't in the one fish club. A member on here gave me some of his homeade Grandebass Rattlesnake knock-offs in a bigger 6-inch size. They are KILLER with a walk-the-dog weightless presentation. I've caught tons of fish on them. The ribs give it so much action.

Nail weights, split shot, weightless, shakeyhead, dropshot, texas rig, the Fluke is a classic. Can't go wrong!

Haha, I'm with you. I just traded the crankbaits I don't use and some old soft plastics for a spinning reel. Works for me .

Depends on who it is. Although in general I love to pass the sport on, I honestly don't like taking someone who has no idea how to fish bc it's more just me teaching them instead of fishing myself. Selfish, I know. I can only do it every once in a while. I love fishing with my brother, and also with my boss, who loves fishing and hunting. But for the most part, I'm out there alone.

I love the guy's YouTube name, Mousetrapgenius haha. So random.

It makes for a great compost pile, that dirt will grow anything.
