I have a question. Who makes good instructional videos for these new sonar/gps units? Seems like we may be missing out on features we don't know how to use. I found Dr sonar and didn't know if anyone had used that or anything similar.

I have only ice fished there. Bass bother our minnows on tip ups out from jacks landing. Grass and scattered wood in 6ish foot of water.

I have frabill bibs and jacket. It's nice light weight and breathable. I also have carhartt suite for colder weather. When going on a multi day trip I take both. My luck it usually rains a lot. Since I stay in a tent I really can't get anything dried out for the next day. Both hold up well. Frabill is only a year old. Carhartt is 4 years old. I had to hit the Carhartt with a coat of DWR a year ago, but it's been good to go since.

Sweet setup. What keeps them from sliding forward and you can't reach them? It would stink to not be able to reach them when you get to the lake. The 8 foot probably allows a guy to still reach them.
