  1. Slackline sensitivity. Fluoro sinks, so in deeper water you have a more direct connection with the bait. You can find braid that sinks though.
  2. For heavy line and the Alberto, just do five wraps up and down. Make sure you put he tag end through right side of the loop at the end.
  3. Hard to say for sure. One could be better on any given day. In my experience, frogs usually catch bigger fish though.
  4. They will hug the bank more times than not. Try topwaters at dusk and dawn. Dropshotting is also another good idea. Or swimming baits.
  5. 2 amp will take a while, but it will work. I have a 6 amp charger.
  6. Kinda looks like rubberized tungsten. I believe it's cheaper to make heads from rubberized tungsten, also easier to make.
  7. Hard to beat sunline fx2 in 50# test. It's round and handles and casts very well. It is an 8 carrier braid also. For the price, it cant be beat.
  8. I have a spool of 20 lb cxx. I like to use it over fluoro in places where I might need some serious knot strength. Spinnerbaits and square bills in lily pads. Mostly so I can get them free from snags without breaking off. Also, the high lb test keeps the spinnerbait high in the water column which i like. I also like it as a leader for hudd 68's.
  9. I ended up getting someone on the phone from your office. They said they would ship it to me. Thanks!
  10. I have used it a few times as a mainline for jerkbaits and smallmouth up to 3 lbs. It worked okay until it was out in the summer heat for a while. It is pretty much useless after one trip. I tried it once fishing for largemouth in grass....never again. Broke at he knot more than once trying to pull 2-3 lb bass out of the grass.
  11. It sure is easy to step on your rods if you have a lot of them on your deck.
  12. Hey, Batson. I tried calling you guys this morning. I just ordered the Rainshadow Eternity2 7'2" MF. What do I have to do to get the free hat and stickers?
  13. On Toledo Bend? I wouldn't know, but I'd say you are right. That lake is gigantic. It would be cool to punch mats one day then deep crank structure the next.
  14. If I had a rod just for spooks, it would be a glass rod. I'd want a less stout fast action rod for poppers. I use a 7'MH with mono for both and it works fine.
  15. Floating jerkbaits in creeks and small rivers from a canoe. Quality smallies all day. No giants yet. Summer has just started though.
  16. I wish I had access to your waters. They seem like they would be very fun to fish also. Lots of grass and shallow cover. I love the waters that I fish, but yours sound like heaven.
  17. I've yet to master the pitch skip or the backhand skip. I can do each one okay, just not very confident with either.
  18. Nope it's still the same. I prefer modfast over mod for those two. Really I have a fast action rod that feels closer to a modfast that I use.
  19. Those who are not telling the truth, which is probably a lot, ruin it. I don't know dude. The fact that it doesn't have very many requirements makes it seem pretty corny.
  20. I have an xheavy rod that I have to set the brakes tight or it WILL backlash when trying to skip. I don't use it for skipping very often though. I like a rod with a much softer tip, and the brakes set loose, so all I have to do is roll my wrists to skip.
  21. I looked it up on the AGFC website. All you have to do is fill out an application. A picture is preferred, but it isn't a requirement. Meh, no thanks.
  22. All those different shades of blue should look sweet with a crosswrap or whatever design it is you are using. I got some cobalt blue nylon prowrap for my eternity build.
  23. I set them light. I make sure my thumb is feathering the spool on the whole cast.
