The E6x is a great rod light & sensitive and there are lots of different models to chose from,But the tatula and zodias rods are definitely worth trying.

I have a 7ft med hvy *** black fast action with a tatula Type R 6:3-1 wich I use with 10lb mono for spooks,poppers,prop baits etc/. But braid works great also 50-65lb.

What kind of jig head do you use for the gitzit 3in. ?

Ya,wish I could have got in on some of that.

Bait: My tube of choice is a Gitzit 3.5in color: Brown craw /green sparkle. Rigging: Fishing around rock type structure I use the bite me vertical eye tube head,Fishing around wood&grass etc/ Ike's method works great,I like 1/4oz for just about all the tubes I use. Line: I use seagur red label 6-10lb test depending on the cover.

The Yamamoto 5in thin senko has cuaght me a lot of fish this year and can be used on a number of different rigs,but a 3.5in tube is still #1 for me.

Heading to lake lake cachuma ca, this weekend on a camping trip hopefully I can catch a some Lmb's,last year around this time I cuaght my PB (6lbs) while shallow cranking,who knows the lakes pretty far down right now and the last couple times I've gone I got skunked but hopefully the fishing will be better now. All I know is that TW is getting some $$$ out of it.
