  1. The Sonora is a fairly good deal, the Avocet is pretty common at that price in Walmart I believe.
  2. I don't see that as a problem. I think the intention is entertainment, to see what others enjoy using.
  3. $60-$70 for the Revos and $100 for the Smoke.
  4. I use braid in grass for two other reasons also. With the thinner diameter, it cuts through the grass easier. Plus, it blends in with the grass very well so I don't worry about the line visibility as much.
  5. I'm going to go with the Powell. Love their rods. Light, powerful, and they look super fresh.
  6. A flat sided mid depth crank is my favorite.
  7. I like a 7'1" H/F or a 7'3" MH/XF for swim jigs. Megabass, Daiwa, and Powell are my preferred rod brands. Line type depends on the type of cover. 30lb braid around grass, 15-17lb fluoro around rocks and wood.
  8. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 or Nike Air Mags
  9. So now the Fuego and Tatula are the same exact price...interesting decision by Daiwa to say the least.
  10. I can't attest to the action, however, you may want to rethink using a 7'9" rod for frogs. Most people, including myself, agree that the 7'-7'3" range is the best for hollow body frogs.
  11. They're made in the same factory.
  12. Note to self: get more sleep. ...thought he meant the FK for whatever reason.
  13. You have Stradic FJ's from 10 years ago? They came out last year, lol.
  14. It depends on the activity level of the fish. Let the fish tell you how slow to fish it.
  15. The diameter on Sunline is so small that I'd go to 18lb around docks.
  16. They don't get great reviews and they're really ugly looking honestly.
  17. From my experience, more supple, limp braids such as the J-Braid perform better on spinning reels. Coated, stiffer braids perform much better on baitcasting equipment with less backlashes and mid cast snap offs.
  18. Are you talking about the Aldebaran BFS XG coming out?
