  1. That Stille is a cool looking reel for sure.
  2. Yeah, the heads were a little expensive. Hopefully I won't regret paying that much for them. I'm a sucker for innovation and things that are different. They haven't gotten any use as of yet, so I can't comment on that. The only thing is I wish for a jig of that price they would use a heavier wire Gamakatsu instead of an Owner cutting point. But that's just my preference. They don't lie about those things standing up straight, though. Not that it matters as much as they say it does. We'll see as far as hookups go. Side note: As you said, those Dirty Jigs skirts are awesome. I think those will be my new favorite skirts by far as long as they don't fall apart easily.
  3. This year I went with (new-tech) heads and Dirty Jigs skirts. We'll see how that goes. Both seem very high quality.
  4. You going to get that new Alde BFS XG?
  5. Because Megabass is life. I'd get a Megabass Destroyer Kirisame.
  6. Curado I is available for $130ish if you look around. The Citica I retails at $150 and is a beast of a reel.
  7. Is this another one of those "said no one ever" jokes?
  8. 14lb Sunline Reaction Fluoro or Super Natural Mono
  9. I don't know if you've tried the newer Shimano reels, but they're awesome. There's no need to dwell on the past when their current products are just as good.
  10. Megabass takes care of their customers. Plus, there is no cooler rod than the XX at that price point. If I see those on the deck of your boat at the ramp, I know you mean business.
  11. We should be seeing a lot more clearances on this Stradic Ci4+ as the new one comes out.
  12. Also Plat and Samurai Tackle
  13. Too cool! 2016 is a huge year for Shimano. Thanks for sharing.
  14. My point was that 1/8-1/4oz baits aren't very easy to throw on a 200 sized reel.
  15. You're throwing 1/8-1/4oz crankbaits on casting gear? That's not really ideal.
  16. I'd get the new Curado 70. It's going to be perfect for everything you want.
  17. Well, my friend, to understand the art of fine fishing line, you must first discontinue your use of Cajun line.
  18. I totally agree. On top of the awesome action, I'm a sucker for JDM cranks so you know I have to have one too many of it.
  19. You beat me to it. That crankbait is going to be awesome. Have you seen the underwater videos of it?
  20. 15lb Daiwa J-Braid to a 7 or 8lb Sunline FC Sniper leader is my favorite.
  21. The only ones I can assume are coming to the USDM right away are the Curado 70, Casitas 100, and Caenan 150.
  22. Sunline is my preferred line brand. FC Sniper, Shooter, and even Super Fluoro are all good lines.
