I got these two rods and reels for free! A co worker with my wife had 4 MH 7ft Bass Pro Elite rods he didn't want. So he gave them to her for me for the free. And my work gives us points for doing a good job and we can shop with them. Bought both reels with those points. (I tagged the picture... too much to try to go generate a code)

What dip do you use? I'm planning to try it out more next year.

Man I love spinnerbaits but they do seem to be tougher to use. They are a great search bait but unless it's low light, good wind or the bass are just active... you almost have to move on. I fished a pond my friend has that see's fisherman maybe 3-4 times a year. I'd catch them fine on spinnerbaits till the sun hit the water. But would absolutely kill them on a trick worm on a drop shot rig. Of course on another trip to a local river.. a couple of my friends caught about 6-7 bass on the drop shot but I caught only three on a spinnerbait. Buuuuuuut my 3 would have ate their 7 lol

Oh yeah, some teams seasons are made by beating an SEC team. Namely Alabama. Ole Miss could probably lose the rest of their games and be just fine.

Agreed here. To me a confidence lure is one you know inside and out. How to fish it, where to fish it, the color, action etc. And it can change. You might love the Rattle trap but you won't in the dead of summer or dead of winter. Not a fan of spinnerbaits if the water looks like ice and the sun is up. But other times, I love those lures. The Super Fluke though... or a trick worm on a drop shot rig.

Pork on jigs. Spinnerbaits, I like to trim the excess skirt up some and add a trailer hook. Grubs and stuff can help displace more water or give the bait a different look to the Bass. Maybe add some bulk to it but I'm not a huge fan of them at the moment.

No doubt there is a checklist. This year it was mainly getting everything together and into the truck the night before. Next year will be a much longer list as I will finally have a boat to go out on. I am sure there will be a learning experience there.

Oh I would die or hurt someone. I don't have any rods like that by my wife freaks out if anyone gets close to my fishing stuff. Unless she knows it's the cheap stuff.
