  1. I don't look down upon anglers who fish with lesser equipment, but if I see some bucket brigaders sitting on a cooler full of fish, holding their rods and reels upside down, and keeping fish at a catch and release only lake, then I am going to speak up.
  2. Get a pair of pliers with a sheath/holster.... Try these http://www.amazon.com/Calcutta-FPB02S-GS-Aluminum-Plier/dp/B00AU5VHWK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1437644786&sr=8-1&keywords=calcutta+pliers http://www.amazon.com/Calcutta-Molded-Pier-Sheath-Belt/dp/B00C4ZI2WM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1437644786&sr=8-2&keywords=calcutta+pliers
  3. Spinnerbait and Squarebill. Those are my main as the fish start to transition to following the bait up shallow.
  4. Fish from sundown to sun up, and get that frog out!
  5. Squarebill, Spinnerbait, Frog
  6. My buddy has one. It does OK.... I think this one with the bag only is a better value. A nicer bag at a lower price, and you can use your existing boxes, which is a bonus. http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shops-XPS-Stalker-Backpack-Tackle-Bag-or-System/product/1304050935/
  7. Are you fishing a baitcaster? 15 lb Braided Line is extremely thin, making for an extremely frustrating time on a baitcaster.
  8. Yeah, I hope it works out for you! The Lew's BB1s are great reels. What will this setup be for?
  9. Buy Big Bite Baits 10"Kriet Tails. Bigger than 10" Power Worms side by side by like a whole inch. Also, they have a longer bag. Cheaper too.
  10. How were ya'll's experiences with Steep and Cheap? There are some real deals on there! I'm pretty weary, but have bought stuff at an amazing discount at Outlet Bait and Tackle and haven't been burned yet.
  11. I think Costa's website lets you customize a pair. https://www.costadelmar.com/shop/sunglasses/straits/13022
  12. Zman is very durable. Super glue will keep your baits from sliding down the hook. Nichols lures also makes jigs with a slot for a toothpick to hold the trailer, and keep it from sliding down the hook. The only craw trailer I've had a huge problem with durability is the Berkley Crazy Legs Chigger Craw, it just has too many appendages.
  13. For general sight fishing Amber will serve you well. If you can only afford one pair of glasses, go with Amber lenses. Great all around color for fishing.
  14. As already stated, the Booyah is a great frog, probably the best small frog on the market. If you need a frog smaller than that, I believe that vicious makes one.
  15. I'd think they would put Caddo on this list... The fact that its not makes me think you are right.
  16. Correct. Small bodies of water can use corrective action, unless of course, there is an abundance of forage and cover to support a q population of big bass. And big fish definitely do not belong in the keep and eat well.
  17. Ice fisherman are known to do both of these as well.
  18. Lew's Tournament Pros are going on sale for $149 with the introduction of the new LFS model. Originally retailed for $200. That would be my suggestion
  19. What is it about Gambler that you Florida guys love? Just curious.
  20. You could try the Deeper fishfinder. Not the greatest thing, but would at least give you a view of bottom comp and depth.
  21. I wear a $15 pair of Berkley's for driving and working. Good glasses for a solid price. Knockaround also makes a stylish polarized pair of glasses with a nice feel for $24. They are probably the best low end glasses I've ever felt. Great for wearing around town or while boarding and on the beach as well. I put some Guy Harvey keepers behind them, and I look like the ultimate skipper
  22. Buy yourself a 7-7'3" MH rod and pair it with a 7:1 reel for contact baits would be my idea.... Decide what direction you want to go in, and then don't deviate from that direction.
  23. Because you pick up vibrations through a line regardless of stretch, but better if it is more dense, but less stretch means the line will actually react (ie. line jump) which is more visible, or am I getting this wrong?
