Baby Back Ribs Rip Off
This is huge. Reason prices have gone up in everything is because of artificially trying to pump up the economy by inflating minimum wage. By doing that, the cost of the very minimal (McD's Burger for instance) goes up, and devalues things, including every one else's time. That's economics for ya. Inflation, inflation, inflation. Like when the Confederacy attempted to pump up their economy by printing substantial amounts of money. This caused money to be less rare, easier to obtain, and caused crazy amounts of inflation, eventually leading to economic collapse.

Flipping Baits
That Yum Bad Mamma looks like a killer bait. I need to pick some up!

Havoc Bottom Hopper Worm : Best Size For Shakeyhead ?
Roboworms float once the salt is released. I just bought some of those to fish on spot removers.

Building Confidence In Baits
Truest thing I've ever heard. I've been learning feeling jig and worm bites before I start fishing the stuff out on "real water"

Power Drop Shotting?
Sounds about right. You could still do open hook, but lots of Bubba Shotting is done around grass or other heavy cover

Hilary And Amelia Martin?
I believe I watched them on outdoor or sportsmans channel. We got them free for 3 motnths so I recorded just about every show I could to watch during lightning storms (no live tv, or fishing )

Big Bass After The Spawn
Nice write up. Good find deep. Thanks to Tom for once again sharing some very good hard earned knowledge to us all, once again, at no cost to us.

Finally Happened......
My dad once hurried a treble hook hurried to the hilt in his palm last summer. He now fishes with fingerless gloves and is hook shy as all get out. We pulled it out right there, he drank a coke and kept fishing. He said he could feel it pull on the muscle in his hand, but magically the hook came out clean. He did take himself in for a Tetnis shot that evening just to be safe though. Hope that your hand feels better. Gloves, hook removers, and pliers have been huge additions to his box, so far so good, I would recommend that, as well as barbless hooks on treble baits. Hope you feel better so you can get out and boat more fish!

Choosing New Rods For Specific Purposes
6'6"-6'8" Medium Casting w/6.3:1 Reel (Topwater, Jerkbait) 6'6"-7' Medium Heavy Moderate Fast or Fast (your preference) w/6.3:1 Reel (Spinnerbait, Lipless, Squarebill) 7'-7'3" Medium Heavy Fast or Extra Fast w/7.1:1 Reel (Worm and Jig) 6'10"-7'3" Heavy Xtra Fast w/7.1:1 Reel (Frog, Flip/Pitch, Punch) 7' Medium Fast Spinning w/5.1:1 Reel (Weightless worm, Shaky, Drop Shot) These would be my five. I did not include line choices, but I can if you'd like. I'm sure I left something out, but 5 is not a lot. I have a 6 rod system for all scenarios, but generally carry 3 (top/middle/bottom presentations) based on the recent weather patterns, predicted weather patterns, and what I assume the conditions will be. If I've never fished a particular BOW before I will carry rods 1 and 2 to cover water, and then toss up (eeny meeny miny moe) between rods 3 and 4 for my 3rd rod, for slowing down and working an area that I've found that holds active fish.

Rods W/o Clearcoat
They look nice. Not slick, but they look refined to me. I prefer that on all my rods.

Longer Handles On Baitcasters
Buy a Lew's... All Lew's 5.4:1 reels are built for David Fritts' prefered cranking style. 94mm Handle, Deep Spool, placement and shape of levelwind. Good stuff.

Frog Rod
Not planning on buying anything else soon, as my bank account is looking a little deflated , but wanted to know what you guys look for in a frog rod. What rod do you fish frogs on? Brand? Length? Power? Action?

Who's Your Daddy?
Very true, I can regenerate pretty quickly. I'm guessing I'll miss that in the future!

What Do You Do When You Can't Buy A Bite?
I'd still be fishing! Here these last few winters we've gotten snowed in our house more than once.

Who's Your Daddy?
Not the best at catching fish in gin clear water. Commitments are crazy now, I mentioned in another forum being a full time student athlete and holding two jobs can get hectic. I'm at school at 5 every morning so I can put 5,000 yards in the pool, and then go to school, then plug in another 10,000 in the pool after. I leave at 5:30, work at my jobs until 10. Sleep, repeat. I still try to get out on the bank at least once a week, sometimes twice depending on if I have to work on Saturday, or if there is a meet that weekend. Its a lot, but I try and make it work. On Sundays I fish and spend the day relaxing. I always try and take time for Sunday rest, swim meets being the exception. Right now its Summer so no school, but still pulling two-a-days in the pool and working both jobs. I hope I don't sound like I'm bragging. I'm sure everyone is dealing with 10,000 different commitments as well, that's just life these days.

Decent Day
Ok, good to know. As long as we can get her properly trained! You have a very pretty dog, BTW.

So If I Was Going To Get A Yak...just Asking If
What do you mean when you took the hatches off and re sealed them? Did you have to seal the scuppers? Or did the plugs keep water out? Thanks for the advice I'm figuring out what I should do for my first yak.... Would you go with and Ascend or wait? I have until February to make a decision.
