  2. My condolences. I could never even begin to understand the pain you are going through. What I can say is that pouring yourself into something, work, hobbies, whatever it is does help. I wish you the best of luck. Very sad to hear.
  3. Yeah I was watching one of those the other day. Its called Major League Lessons. The one I watched was KVD swimming a jig, Chris Lane punching mats with a Pit Boss.. And someone else I can't remember because it was late and I fell asleep half way through!
  4. Well, I mean... They own it now... Them and McKinnis, so I wouldn't really expect to see anyone else.
  5. Welcome! Most of my family lives in the Jacksonville area. Have you ever fished UNF?
  6. Nice set up! How'd you set up your crate?
  7. I don't use them because I don't change that often. If you want to change up without relying then yes. It will save you money on line. Just buy quality snaps so you don't lose fish.
  8. I feel like you'd pick up a bunch of crap off the bottom, by I don't fish C rigs much. By all means try it and see if it works for you.
  9. I would say the prices aee pretty close so they are comparable. I would call them equals in terms of product lines... Shooter is more in line with a Tatsu and Super Fluorocarbon is about on par cost wise with Red label
  10. InvisX is literally the 2nd lowest grade line in Seagaur's lineup. Tatsu is known for its superior quality
  11. I also like the idea of a Midwest forum. Good idea!
  12. Bassmaster Classic 2014. Randy Howell came back from 5th place on the beginning of the final day on a decision to go crank a specific point, I believe near a bridge if I remember right... And as Livingston swears, he also won on his decision to tie on the DMC... But we all know that's not 100% true.
  13. Lew's SS Pflueger Supreme Daiwa Exceller All are $99. As long as its a 7 gear ratio you'll be fine. Spending more will get you more bearings, and possibly superior build quality, but not always.
  14. What kind of swimbait are you referring to?
  15. Lipless crank, buzzbait, topwater walker.
  16. Personally it depends on the weather for me to make a decision... But all things equal you'd probably catch me cranking that point. If nothing is there I'd find a grass breakline, fish a lipless crank and a topwater walker to start covering water. Then I'd make my gameplan from their, and I'd probably hit that point again in an hour or two if I don't find any fish.
  17. Cool that;s awesome usually you don't get to many awesome guys to work with! Really like my job though as I'm working outside and the guy I work for is a pretty nice guy as well
  18. Gnarly! That's also a nice rig you've got there. What year is it and how much did it cost you?
  19. That's one hell of boss! Mine is a baseball fanatic so I don't get to talk much fishing at work... Say, where are you working?
  20. Question, why the Rapala for topwater without split rings?
  21. I thought they were at one point... I don't hear much about then now...
  22. Mods, could we have a Sales and Deals forum added? It would spare everyone and their brother asking about sales every single holiday.
  23. Not if the penalize you for it! The traditional tournament will soon be going the way of Major League Fishing. Just wait and see.
  24. Curious... What setup did you have it on? What were you using it for?
  25. Salt Water Grade 1/2 oz Beetle Spin. Now I'm able to take the lure I fished on a cheap spinning reel as a little kid and throw it on my dedicated Spinnerbait casting setup!
