What Is My Best Option For T Rig Fishing?
X2

Eagle Creek Reservoir, Indianapolis, Indiana And Raccoon Sra (Cecil M Harden) Parke County, Idniana
I remember that back in 2009. We were able to walk around and get to all our spots. It's hard to get around on fort! That's why I want the yaks! Hopefully we can get out on both, maybe even Monroe and Patoka too.

Crankbaits! Can You Fully Effective With Only One Brand?
I'm pretty organized, but have about half the baits you have. Still covers all my bases! (Flat sides, round sides, square bills, wakes, mid depth, shallow, deep) I'm good for everything I encounter.

Daisha Tatula Type Hd Vs Shimano Curado 300E
Like everyone else, you'll probably be fine with both. The Daiwa would get my money, if that's what you want to know.

A Tribute To Lews
They're both really nice knobs. I didn't like the old Daiwa knobs that much... The design of these is Nic, and they seem a little softer than the Lew's.... Honestly, it leaves something to be desired w/my Lew's handles. I can't justify the money for nicer handles though...

Braid With Crankbaits?
I don't. Because I'm old school I use mono for everything except for worms/jigs and flipping.

Kevin Van Dam Did Not Qualify For 2015 Classic!
The fact is, this is the way the fishing industry works. The only reason their aee tournament pros, are to promote product to us (the everyday angler). W/out these marketing strategies, their are no tournaments, no pros, and no fishing shows. So that's why you see so much sponsor times. When it comes down to it, they've got to make a living too. Everyone's gotta get paid somehow.

Eagle Creek Reservoir, Indianapolis, Indiana And Raccoon Sra (Cecil M Harden) Parke County, Idniana
That's suprising. When I can get out there and get around on foot I've caught some good fish. Like really good fish. We'll have to see how it goes once I get the yaks. Thanks for the info!

Centrifugal Braking
Apparently not. I prefer not too mess to much w/my break shoes in the Dual breaking on my Lew's anyways...

Dirty Water Worm Fishing
Thanks for the replies guys! Looks like I will be fishing plastics in some dirtier water to get a feel for the nuances of my specific situation when the spring runoff runs its course!

Centrifugal Braking
The die hard Shimano fans live centrifugal breaking. For football jigs, its probably not too bad. They're not extremely hard to set, they are just harder to set in the fly like a magnetic break. Also remember to change out your break shoes to wear them evenly.

All Around Smallie Line
Thanks guys! I figured that's what I would want. I don't want to mess w/the handling of fluoro, I just know some guys prefer it when you are not trying to get a gut wrenching hook set a mile from the boat. Thanks again!

Most Durable Spinning Reel And Baitcaster, Cost Not A Concern
Interesting. The BPS and Abu reels I've owned don't seem to eminate the same quality as the Lew's. Hmmmm... The Pflueger reels seem realy nice though.. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one if those at their price point. Thanks for letting me know. I'm still a die hard Lew's fan though.. I just like the way the feel and cast. Personal preference.. Like I said in another thread.. Everything in this sport comes down to just that, personal preference.

What's You New Years Fishing Resolution For 2015?
Catch more and bigger fish! Truth be told, I need to build confidence in new presentations early. Id also like to start a fishing show to go w/my blog and Twitter account. Dwight, are you a guide?

Spooling With Fluorocarbon
I just don't know if I would use 20#. If that's what you got, go for it. Don't spend extra money on a new spool you don't need and let a good spool go to waste. I would not hesitate to use 20# as a flipping line though. Very good abrasion resistance.

Veritas 7'9 Heavy Fast And Fenwick Et 6'3 Medium Fast
They seem to be somewhat stiff for my liking. I don't think you'd have a problem w/swimbaits though.. It might make a good flipping/punching stick. The heavy power Veritas is probably a winch

Spooling With Fluorocarbon
What line are you usually using instead of FC? What do you plan to use it for? What is the # test you usually use of your regular line?
-
Heavy Fluoro
It is true that stretch is similar, but Fluoro is a controlled stretch, and locks down a lot quicker than a nylon based line.
-
Gear Ratio?
I actually would find 6.8 may be slightly more versatile than a 6.4.. Basically its only a 1/2 turn more of the spool so its not that much. Anything 6.'X' will be fine.

Daiwa Zillion 9.1
I'm really enjoying this conversation. Shows that there is a need for the whole spectrum of speeds from slow to hyper speed.

Most Durable Spinning Reel And Baitcaster, Cost Not A Concern
Working and smooth as day one are two different statements. I've had Shimano reels, and ice had the anti reverse go out, and not be able to get the parts. The only reel I know that has lasted that long is my dad's ProCaster. And I garuntee I'm still using my Lew's 10 years from now.

Bps Reel's
I see... I saw this also w/another BPS combo. I bought a ProLite reel, it was nice, then saw the combo online. Reel had totally different specs. 3 less bearings even.
