  2. Welcome to the forum. Thanks for that post ike is a funny guy never seen that before funny stuff.
  3. WRB knows what he's talking about except 25lb izor for me
  4. Also if your bank fishing big baits there is going to be some point in time when you are going to get wet and go swimming. Not trying to scare you its just the name of the game unless you are cool with loosing a deps here and there. I've been fishing a deps got hung up it was late in the evening cut my line tied it off under the dock so I could come back first thing in the morning to rent a boat and go get my deps back lol. The idiotic things I do for swimbait fishing.
  5. I only trust the Palomar knot when throwing baits that cost 200+. Look around on swimbait underground and you will find the same answers
  6. Haha thanks bud that one was easy
  7. Who exactly are y'all talking about. You've all peaked my curiosity and I can't take it anymore lol.
  8. Just picked up an endurance 775 for 119 brand new woo. The turners near me had the last few endurance rods they owned marked down to 119. Couldn't pass that up
  9. If your pitching in real light cover you could get away with it I suppose if you have a high speed reel so you can horse her away from the cover before she breaks your heart and heads back into the junk. Just depends on what type of cover you're talking about really.
  10. Watch southern trout eaters!
  11. Wow I love me a buck knife and these look cool going to put em on my Christmas list. Or maybe my thanksgiving list haha
  12. That's going to be variations of purple, blue, green, yellow, orange. There maybe some other colors in there that people like but for me its going to be just something black and blue with some strands of purple and maybe 4 strands or so of one of the other mentioned colors.
  13. Just Google homemade line spooling station and you will find a few DIY variations built for cheap from things at home depot.
  14. Maybe not brand new but lurking around on a few forums one can be had for that.
  15. Dobyns champion 735c or megabass orochii xx79 Aaron martens flipping stick I actually stopped fishing my 735 dobyns in favor of my megabass orochii for jigging at the beginning of the year. Yes I know its a flipping stick rated xxh it still has a soft tip, lots of sensitivity and tons of backbone.
  16. The shimano Cardiff is a good entry level round swimbait reel.
  17. camo replied to Texas Pride's topic in Fishing Tackle
Siebert jigs are not expensive at all I suggest you place an order there. Other inexpensive jigs that are pretty good are pepper baits, and bass patrol. Netbait paca chunks are cheap trailers and d**n good.
  18. Saw a video on YouTube of Mikey ballz putting a piece of electrical tape around a senko and hooking it through the senko and tape instead of using orings to wacky rig Also instead of using just one punch stop he uses two so when the first one wears out from punching all day the second one is there in its place saving time from having to retie
  19. Where's the pic of thee dookie? Haha funny story had me cracking up.
  20. Tatsu is on the upper end of the price range. There are lots of conflicting opinions because everyone fishes differently and in different types of water, cover, structure etc. Ultimately you are going to have to figure out what works for your style and body of water. Start with something cheaper like invizx or sniper. See what you like and dislike about it then go from there.
  21. There is also a lot of 6 jerkbaits assorted brands brand new in box's for 25 shipped in the flea market might want to check that out
  22. Might get some hate for this but I only fish two different jerkbaits LC pointers and luckestrike rick clunns but the split rings and hooks must be replaced immediately. I used to spend a lot of money on megasbass Ito's but I think the rick clunns mimic that action pretty well.
  23. What weight of jigs are you throwing?
