  1. It wasn't very hard, as the BBH was the first soft plastic that I faithfully used. And it was only like 2 and a half hours.
  2. thanks! i caught a monster largemouth yesterday.
  3. I would assume that there are smallies in this river, but are there largemouths?
  4. thank you, everyone who has offered support. the reason i got it tatted was because of the fact that it's a hobby i've always enjoyed and always will enjoy. it's something that no one can take away from me. oh and it's on my right calf, not my forearm.
  5. What do y'all think?
  6. roboworms light oxblood/red flake. killer on smallies.
  7. let them hold onto it for a few seconds longer, then set it with a HARD side sweeping motion.
  8. Bad A**... it's supposed to be just shake, squirt, and go, but i can't get it to stay on my lure! it comes off with the first cast! i like red to simulate an injured fish. using it on flukes. any ideas? or is this used for hard baits like cranks?
  9. anything but fireline. if you're going for a braid try suffix. i like yo-zuri hybrid. roadwarrior always talks about it and i finally gave it a try and it's AMAZING. and really strong.... AND INVISIBLE!
  10. i like it! garlic is like my fav scent to use for bassin.
  11. try mineral oil. took me awhile to find it, but look in the laxatives section.
  12. i bought a few of these. looks promising. anyone know anything about these? and they're 5" long. would a smallie hit that?
  13. carolina rigged finesse worms. i like roboworms or zoom finesse worms.
  14. black. black shows the sharpest sillouhette. also, use scents. i prefer the yum spray on garlic. nasty!
  15. carolina rig all the way. slow or fast. caught MANY quality fish on them either way.
  16. Hi, I'm looking into swimbaits. Please let me know what's best. Thanks!
  17. it's a pfleuger echelon. i just need to do basic maintenance. i also have a abu garcia ambassaduer that i need to look at the drag control because it's gotten really TIGHT.
  18. ya for real. i'm so picky about my soft plastics. i love roboworms, zoom, and yum. i bought some outlaws, and some other off brand and just didn't even trust it!
  19. does anyone have any good tutorials for dissembling, regreasing, and reassembling baitcasting reels? (pics included please!)
  20. i'm kind of leaning towards buying a 2 piecer while i'm down there. any suggestions on good worming rods under 100 bucks? i would end up having to sell my pfleuger though. i just don't want another rod without the reel, and well i don't have money/need for another combo.
  21. I had some XPS 12 pound test on my pfleuger echelon reel and well... let my girlfriend hold and she tried to cast it and let's just say that that is the LAST time! lol. anyways, i really don't want to have to order from BPS again, so is there a better line for a baitcaster? i primarily use it for worm fishing, however, i will occationally tie on a spinnerbait or a crakbait on to it. also, i was thinking of going down to a 10, or maybe even 8 pound test line. the rod it's on is a mh/f pfleuger trion. it's rated at 10lb text/140 yards.
  22. well i dunno then. i mean, we were getting bit alot, but we only landed a total of 3.
  23. well, i lost the rig with my 2/0 hook, and all i had left was a 5/0.... so i'm pretty sure that's why lol.
