  1. it is either bad line or a bad knot. Ive seen both recently. That spider wire ez braid is junk.
  2. maybe the most aggressive eaters I've found. these little guys will hit on anything
  3. A short rod for frogging will be good to go. NO quite the distance of a 7'+ but from the bank a 6 or 6 1/2 is good
  4. I really like the wacky rig. I am going to bring out some 3/0 circle hooks for us today. I think they might hook up on them well
  5. Secret 7 for channel. Cut spipjack for blues. Live bait for flat
  6. Lews reels are my personal favorite. Something in the 2500 size would be perfect
  7. Fluke weightless
  8. The lip is very poorly constructed. Mine broke first use
  9. Most of my fishing is at a single pond muddy about 8 feet derp. Low viability. What can Ned rig do
  10. It was a spooky good day
  11. Great lure for sure. My first thing out if fishing early
  12. I have two combos right now. 7 ft mh bc 6:4.1 with 50# power pro I use it for frogs, jigs, spinners. My second is 6 ft 6 inch med spinning rod with 30 lb power pro I use it for everything else. Considering adding a 6 ft 6 in med baitcaster for crankbaits and using the spinning rig with 6 lb mono for finesse. Thoughs? Maybe putting the 6:4.1 reel on the 6 ft 6 in pole and a 7:1.1 on the 7 ft med heavy rod
  13. I use snaps but not swivels
  14. Never in my life have I seen such poor repeated decision making from a management organization as the 49er front office. These guys are delusional and psychotic trying to run a team. Flat line stupidity to run Jim out. Worst decision ever.
  15. If I went out today to start my box over I'd pick up June bug trick worms, watermelon seed Senko, and green pumpkin tubes for plastics. Hard plastics pop r in bass, spook in bone, wiggle wart, and rapala j9 split minnow. Red eye sexy shad. A white and chartreuse spinner. A black and blue jig. I could catch something anywhere with those few baits
  16. I think braid is too "stiff" for a top water. Try a mono leader to give it some stretch
