  5. Idk if this has been done before or not but. Say you are going to a new lake and know absolutely nothing about it, what would be 5 and only 5 baits you'd take. Must include color in answers. 1 green pumpkin senko 2 white spinner with chartreuse skirt (sk) 3 black spro top water frog 4 bone spook Jr 5 3/8 oz black and blue booyah pig and jig
  6. Do most of you guys run trolley motor on front or back of boat?
  7. I have tried the bring what I think I would use approach but 2 things occur. Lots of my fishing is impromptu and I like having my gear in the car, second I'll regret not bringing something
  8. I use leaders rarely. Dropshot, some top water and super clear water. I have rods with both braid and copoly so I use what the situation calls for
  9. Wouldn't a tackle bag just do this?
  10. White is only color I use. 3/0 ewg gama in red
  11. I currently own three combos I use for bassin. Duckett ghosts in 7ft med spinning, 7ft med cranking rod (my fav) and 7 ft 3 mh. I also wanting to add something a little more finesse for panfish/smallies. I've got a reel with 10 lb braid already, basically looking for good ml rod since ghost ! doesn't make one. My other question is would I got more use out of a medium casting rod or a heavy casting rod now? My cranking rod is awesome for small baits, but not a great rod for larger crankbaits or spinners. The medium heavy is great for frogs and jigs. I just feel like I am missing a rod between the two of them. Duckett has a 6 10 medium casting rod I am liking and thinking would be great for spinners, chatterbaits, heavier cranks, some top water and general all around use. I worry about my mh rod in the slop too. I've not had an issue yet and I am not a swimbait guy so a heavy action rod hasn't been a huge issue, but given the choice would you add a medium fast or a heavy to rotation. Eventually I'll add both. I just have one reel collection dust I want to add a rod for now
  12. I like baitcasters better myself, but I am not a finesse fisherman. My buddy uses only spinning gear and always outfishes me. I could learn a thing or two. If I am bank beating its always a spinning rod with finesse baits
  13. i have three duckett rods and i am looking at a 4th now. very impressed for the cost.
  14. i went with the minn kota circuit breaker and wiring harness. It is working perfectly. set up was easy, and i just mounted the breaker in the battery box. everything stays very dry, and it is a very clean set up. i am very happy with the results.
  15. Anyone have advice on where I can get a rudder for back of boat?
  16. I'd look for something you cam just pay cash for. I paid 500 for my whole set up. It is nice
  17. I am going to order the minn kota 60 amp. I am just not sure how to install it
