  1. The lip is very poorly constructed. Mine broke first use
  2. Most of my fishing is at a single pond muddy about 8 feet derp. Low viability. What can Ned rig do
  3. It was a spooky good day
  4. Great lure for sure. My first thing out if fishing early
  5. I have two combos right now. 7 ft mh bc 6:4.1 with 50# power pro I use it for frogs, jigs, spinners. My second is 6 ft 6 inch med spinning rod with 30 lb power pro I use it for everything else. Considering adding a 6 ft 6 in med baitcaster for crankbaits and using the spinning rig with 6 lb mono for finesse. Thoughs? Maybe putting the 6:4.1 reel on the 6 ft 6 in pole and a 7:1.1 on the 7 ft med heavy rod
  6. I use snaps but not swivels
  7. Never in my life have I seen such poor repeated decision making from a management organization as the 49er front office. These guys are delusional and psychotic trying to run a team. Flat line stupidity to run Jim out. Worst decision ever.
  8. If I went out today to start my box over I'd pick up June bug trick worms, watermelon seed Senko, and green pumpkin tubes for plastics. Hard plastics pop r in bass, spook in bone, wiggle wart, and rapala j9 split minnow. Red eye sexy shad. A white and chartreuse spinner. A black and blue jig. I could catch something anywhere with those few baits
  9. I think braid is too "stiff" for a top water. Try a mono leader to give it some stretch
  10. What about 30# on spinning and 65 on casting?
  11. I have a silver max and inferno red 7 ft mh and a lews Jason Christie inferno red 6 6 medium Action. I want to spool both us with power pro just need help deciding on test strength to optimize
  12. Tubes, jerks, shallow cranks, flukes, poppers, senkos and spooks are pretty much all I throw. Maybe a spinner. Some guys like dropshot, but I've never used them. Never caught a fish on a jig, but I am still working on it. Soft creature baits are ok. The best baits fir me gave been jerkbait or tubes. I fish a shallow river religiously, and the bite is tough, but these baits are all you need.
  13. Wiggle wart is my confidence bait now
  14. The bite was finally on here today as well
  15. Get busy living or get busy dying. Shawshank redemption
  16. Old is when you prefer shredded wheat to captain crunch
  17. Truth being told the fishing at prairie creek and summit both stink,
  18. I use it when I panfish. That's about it. Good for little light baits
  19. Cost isn't a huge concern if this thing is built to last. I figure it will last the lifetime of 4 or 5 50 dollar reels
  20. So I picked up a silver max for my first baitcaster and I am fully converted to baitcasters looking to invest in a good one. I want one that will last me for a long time. I am a bank beater and very hard on my gear. I was told the zillion is a tank and best bang for buck. Wanted more feedback. I am a lefty so mettle h2o is out or I'd go that route
  21. I only use mono for leaders myself
