New angler advice. Tackle box essentials..
I love a good top water too. Get a super spook jr in bone...it's my favorite lure. A good popper is always a must too, plus tubes are great lures

Rod I can use for cranks, spinner baits, chatterbaits.
personally a medium fast action rod would be my choice to do all of this. I know not exactly conventional but it works for me.

Lew's Carbon Fire Baitcast Reel
I have 3 of them and they are great reels for the money. I've fished them over 2 years without issue. You can find them on sale around 50 bones and it's the next reel for that price I've found I have a couple bb1 pro reels and the carbon fire are not as nice but still very good. For the money I an very impressed

help me pick rods for my 3 reels (and line)
After reading roadwarriors rod basics thread I have bought 3 reels...lews bb1 pro 7.1:1, lews bb1 5.1:1 and pflueger president spinning reel. I am wanting 3 rods to go with these reels to cover all my bases like he talks about. I want to keep it simple and catch fish. Cost for rods isn't huge concern. I like rods between 6 foot 6 and 6 ft 10. I fish from bank a lot so shorter rods are good plus my jon boat holds them better. Its a personal preference
