NICE!!!

Has anyone else seen this? I finally broke down and bought it about 3 months ago on iTunes and have watched it 11 times since then. I've never surfed, but have great admiration for the sport. Laird Hamilton is a GOD.

NICE!!! I had seen some of the bass on the Hunt for Big Fish with Larry Dahlberg. Pound for pound, New Guinea bass are supposed to be among the toughest. Great catch!

I don't know about that. I think with most of the guys here, if you catch a lunker, you want to get it back in the water as soon as possible.

I'm looking at grad school at JHU. Their history department is one of the best in the nation.

Under NO circumstance would I keep a bass to have it mounted. If a fish is that nice, I'll get pictures and measurements and perhaps get a replica made. A fish like that is far more impressive swimming away.

What is happening is that Calipari is bringing UK back to where it belongs. The SEC and the NCAA is better when UK is great.

Great looking fish, Matt! I know what you're talking about when you say you're burnt out on bass- when you start to think about the size of the fish in the ocean and the fight that goes with them, it's easy not to get excited about a 10 pound fish in 30 feet of water. I'm trying to work back to bass, but jeez I wanna catch redfish right now.

I just got back from the Sportsman's Warehouse here in Tally. When we walked in, Christine and I got to choose two random gift cards that turned out to be worth $30 total. I didn't really need anything but they had a Shimano Compre marked down to $89.99 plus an additional %10 off of that. After Christine finally prodded me into getting it, I ended up paying $50 for the rod (with discounts and gift cards). They had huge deals on alot of other stuff that I wanted to get, but with all the traveling we're doing this summer I needed to save money.
