  1. Hey guys, Christine and I are heading home to Kentucky to visit family in a week. We'll be in Murray from the 7th to the 12th. Anyone want to get together?
  2. This is freaking AWESOME! Even though I live in Florida, I grew up on Kentucky Lake and my grandfather's house is 2 1/2 miles away from Aurora and Kenlake Marina. Christine and I are bringing the baby home for the first time to Ky next Friday. Glenn, I guess you can count me in .
  3. Welcome to the site! I'm sure you'll find some great information and meet some great friends here!
  4. Great fish bro!
  5. I would never play PS3. I HATE that console. I got mine before you got yours. You trade yours in and play with us.
  6. Just sent you a friend request.
  7. Turok, NCAA Football 07, Mass Effect, Marvel Heroes, and of course Oblivion.

Anyone else here on XBox Live? I just got Call of Duty 4 and it's amazing. Look me up online. My gamer name is ooranmirag. Jason
  9. LOVING this show.
  10. He's gorgeous! Congratulations to my good friend and his beautiful wife. See ya soon.
  11. If you can get access, Lake Wellington would be an excellent place to start.
  12. I agree with Catt. I know that Fish Chris is a big proponent of selective harvesting as well. Like Catt, I haven't kept a bass in years (especially out of the water here in Florida). However a lot of that has to do with the fact that there are FAR better tasting fish here in the ocean that I have easy access to.
  13. Wow. You should probably quit fishing altogether. ;D
  14. Oh, believe me, if it's in the limit, it's going to the kitchen!
  15. Awesome! Keep me posted!
  16. Thanks for the advice! I have some of the 3" Berkley Gulp! shrimp (rigged weightlessly on a 4/0 Gamakatsu hook) and was getting bites on it, but felt that they were probably small junk fish due to the peck-peck-peck feel. I am wading around since I have no boat and I had a snook swim right up to me yesterday. Haven't caught anything yet. Am I correct in my understanding that the best time to fish is with the rising tide?
  17. I was addicted to Civilization II on the PC for the longest time. The same goes for TIE Fighter as well.
  18. In the words of Dave Chappelle, "He made Thriller, man. Thriller."
  19. Ok guys, the wife and I are at the vacation house on Florida's gulf coast, on Palm Island, near Boca Grande. I have decided to target redfish, snook, and seatrout while I'm here. I've never caught these fish before, and I'm here for two weeks. Can someone give me some basic ideas on how to fish these areas? Here are some pictures on what I'm working with:
  20. Okay, we'll shoot for October. I will begin an official thread for this sometime this week and we'll see if one of the mods will pin this on the board for us as well.
  21. Only when I go out with Bassn Blvd and he takes me to one of his "super secret, can't miss" locations.
  22. That would be me. I worked there in college and still know some people. Here's the deal. Bassnblvd and I were talking about doing this in October. This way the weather isn't overbearinly hot and we'd have enough time to put it together. We'd like to have this be a statewide Florida get together- I've been putting the regional ones toether down here for the last year or so. Let me begin to check it out and I'll get back to you.
  23. JHawk, I live in Victoria Groves on 441 and Bassnblvd and I regularly fish together. Do you want to fish with us the next time we go out on foot? Send me or Doug a PM.
  24. Nice fish! Welcome to the site!
  25. Bro, I've been on this site a long time and have done everything I can to promote good relations between members here. I've fished with alot of the guys on this site. I've arranged get togethers for the other guys to meet and fish together. I'm not hating on FivePoundBluegill- he's a great guy and has always been friendly to everyone on the site. But you're calling me a jerk because I thought something was posted in the wrong section? Sheesh.
